10/10Ricardo was so patient and friendly while helping us choose our meals and drinks. The restaurant is lovely and the food is amazing. We dined twice during our stay in Florence - favorites were the formatino, lasagne sorrentina, and the tagliatelle ragu! Don't forget to order cheesecake or tiramisu ❤️

9.5/10A typical Toscana restaurant with delicious tastes. For sure you should try the first and the second plate. The service was perfect. The location is not exactly in the vicinity the popular tourist centre of Firenze, but not far on foot. This makes it a destination mostly for locals. I would prefer the desert to be richer in quantity.

10/10The food was excellent. Some twists on classics, as well as some classics. A really nice change of pace from standard Tuscan fare. The service was excellent and the place is very comfortable.

10/10This was our most delicious meal in Italy! And it was also so cost effective, as compared to fancier restaurants we went to. The food was simply outstanding. Local family run restaurant, with lovely ambiance and was really a remarkable little find.

7/10We tried Lazanya and Beef Tongue. That was ok but I have tried more delicious Lazanya before. I likes especially Tiramisu. Bon appetit!

9/10Nice airy interior, warm reception, helpful staff. Delicious artichoke, crostini and octopus pasta. Lovely white wine and vin Santo with cantucci for dessert. Great value!

9/10The only disappointment was that my plate of mussels had 6 that weren’t open. They were replaced but I felt that they shouldn’t have come out in the first place. The rest of our meal was excellent. This was our third visit and we would happily return.

10/10It was exactly what we were looking for. It was radiating an air of authenticity in an extreme touristic Florance. The lady that was helping us was very friendly and ready to explain everything and the food was just exactly what I was expecting: fresh and tasty.

10/10The restaurant was great. Everything from the food, to the waiters , to the space was amazing! We paid 120€ for 4pax. Appetizers, main dish , dessert and drinks They were really nice and explained the menu in English with no issue A great find! Would recommend to everyone

9.5/10Genuinely great restaurant, not the most cosy or atmospheric of restaurants in Florence, but authentically warm welcomes and tasty dishes for a reasonable price make it a destination dinner. Please go for at least one night.

10/10Everything was excellent! We started with slow cooked pork over beans and onions, moved on to lasagna, finished with rosemary steak, and enjoyed house Chianti wine all the while. One of the better meals I've ever had, and great service.

10/10La Cucina del Ghianda is a beautiful small space with wonderful food and atmosphere. Many locals present. Food was excellent! Staff were warm, happy and involved. Our "guide" for the evening was Christopher, and he steered us right in every way, with help for our meager skills in Italian, to food suggestions and explanations. Absolutely loved it. Would go back anytime.
