This small restaurant off the beaten tourist path is a gem. Frequented by many ,locals as well as those of us tourists who found it (it was recommended to me by someone who lives in Florence), it has welcoming staff and a well-priced and wide-ranging menu. I ate there for lunch and dinner and would happily go back. Try the slow-cooked pork shoulder with white beans and spring onions (dinner) or chicken at lunch, and don’t miss the chocolate cake. Excellent!

Ricardo was so patient and friendly while helping us choose our meals and drinks. The restaurant is lovely and the food is amazing. We dined twice during our stay in Florence - favorites were the formatino, lasagne sorrentina, and the tagliatelle ragu! Don't forget to order cheesecake or tiramisu ❤️

A typical Toscana restaurant with delicious tastes. For sure you should try the first and the second plate. The service was perfect. The location is not exactly in the vicinity the popular tourist centre of Firenze, but not far on foot. This makes it a destination mostly for locals. I would prefer the desert to be richer in quantity.

This was our most delicious meal in Italy! And it was also so cost effective, as compared to fancier restaurants we went to. The food was simply outstanding. Local family run restaurant, with lovely ambiance and was really a remarkable little find.

We tried Lazanya and Beef Tongue. That was ok but I have tried more delicious Lazanya before. I likes especially Tiramisu. Bon appetit!

Nice airy interior, warm reception, helpful staff. Delicious artichoke, crostini and octopus pasta. Lovely white wine and vin Santo with cantucci for dessert. Great value!

The only disappointment was that my plate of mussels had 6 that weren’t open. They were replaced but I felt that they shouldn’t have come out in the first place. The rest of our meal was excellent. This was our third visit and we would happily return.

It was exactly what we were looking for. It was radiating an air of authenticity in an extreme touristic Florance. The lady that was helping us was very friendly and ready to explain everything and the food was just exactly what I was expecting: fresh and tasty.
