2.5/10We booked this restaurant because the menu looked good as did the photos of the food on Google maps reviews. How misguided we were. Stepping through the door was like stepping back into the 1980s. Lots of wine bottles on show but only served carafes of house white or red , which was actually ok. I had meatballs in spaghetti. Well I could have made a better job if l’d gone and bought the ingredients from Aldi. Which they probably had!!! Basic spaghetti, six meatballs the size of marbles and a very basic Aldi pasta tomato sauce. My wife had macaroni with cheese and peas, again obviously basic ingredients. The staff were pleasant enough but was absolutely no pride or passion in the cooking or service. There was an old fella sat at the back of the restaurant and I agree with another reviewer, this might have once been a good place to eat but is now desperately in need of the Gordon Ramsay touch. Until then don’t bother, go to Aldi & cook the meal for yourself and save €60.

Our family has been in the restaurant business for generations. Hearing our dishes described as "discount food" is both offensive and disrespectful to those who put love, care, and dedication into this work every single day. We use simple ingredients — as true Sicilian cuisine demands — but they are carefully selected and prepared according to authentic recipes passed down through generations. It often happens that those unfamiliar with real Italian flavors mistake simplicity for poor quality. But Sicilian cooking isn’t about fancy sauces or artificial flavors — it’s about balance, respect for the ingredients, pasta cooked al dente, and sauces made with patience, not with ketchup.

6.5/10Caponata was too fancy, with cocoa powder and caramel on top. Did not expected it in a traditional sicilian restaurant, however it was quite delicious but definitely too sweet and the sour/tangy note was missing. Mains were delicious, but the service was very slow. Value for money was insanely good, especially considering the fact that you are in Taormina. Important to know: We asked to sit outside, however we were told upon arrival that they don‘t have places outside.

6.5/10We went there before 7pm. The waitress told us have to 7 to be able to order food. We ordered seafood pasta and shrimps pasta. The seafood pasta was very good. The shrimps pasta which was more expensive and was too salty and just 4-5 small shrimps.

A family-run, small restaurant in the heart of Taormina serving excellent food. We had caponata, maccheroni alla norma, marinati ( raw, sliced seafood together with red crayfish Last but not least a delicious cannolo scomposto. The most spectacular dessert ever! We booked with The Fork, getting a 20% off but actually if we leave a tip, you save very little
