Good but not great. When you drive far to be in a restaurant, you expect something of an experience. Most surprising is the service that is polite but not warm and attentive to customers. A smile, a welcome sentence, a question on our preferences and some personal recommendations would make a diffference. When we arrived, the place was almost empty and time was not an issue. It’s just another place in France where service is at old standards with smug waiters and waitresses. Food was ok. I took a salad which was not tasty. The tatin was poorly presented and very average, despite being “maison” and recommend by the waitress. Music was nice and not overwhelmingly high in volume. One perfect point. The only one. Overall happy with my evening but just because I was in good company.
