5.5/10Very small and awfully overpriced wine list. We ordered a champagne of over €110, and knowing we are looking at more wine to order for the mains, the sommelier was very(too) fast on pouring the champagne, full glasses and within 15 minutes, the bottle was emptied. Gambas starter was good, fresh and flavored to the point. Tuna from the main was nicely smoked but way too salty. It’s like eating salami as main. Risotto was equally disappointing, more like a congee w cream than risotto. During the meal we were onto 2nd bottle and of course no more luxury of having the service so we were pouring ourselves. I waited to see if anyone coming to pour the wine, not that I have to have the service but when I’m paying 4 times the price, I do expect the service. the waiter literally walked pass by asking the neighboring tables if anything is needed, ignoring our table to avoid taking the bottle from my hand Deserts: apricot cake, dark chocolate mousse both have fake flavoring taste

5.5/10Waiters are nice, but too expensive in general, food not great, not much seasoning, quite "flat" taste-wise

6.5/10The food was ok, nothing special. The restaurant was absolutely packed and obviously popular with a beautiful view of the chateau. However we felt it was all rather impersonal and produced like a factory.

6/10Great view! Good food. Our waiter puts one of the plates on the table, it almost felt on my skirt. The waiter didn’t say or do anything!

6/10The restaurant is a great location and is very well presented. The stater was good and very tasty but the main course was disappointing (undercooked for risotto and bitty). Both courses were clearly pre cooked and it was very evident that this was the case. The stater came within 1 minute of being ordered. The main course immediately after the first courses was removed. Service was very fast, The service from the waitresses was excellent but the head was surly and dismissive. He was clearly unhappy that we were not drinking wine! He would not serve tomato juice (on the menu) and then not prepared to offer an alternative. All the deserts also looked very redone. Overall disappointing for what looked a superb find

6.5/10We already knew the place and loved it. Regarding the food quality, for one of the main courses (scallops) the quantity and quality were disappointing. Regarding the service and atmosphere, they have built a large extension that is probably nice in the daylight, but for a Xmas evening was cold and impersonal. When I raised the issue with the the scallops the answer was that the quantity was right and that they would tell the chef. I believe that I won't repeat the experience.

7/10Good food and really nice view. Desserts are great. Service was not super - lot of things were missing / forgotten and the new set-up feels a bit like a cafetaria.

6.5/10Il y a des fautes d'anglais sur la carte qu'on pourrait corriger. To avoid my French mistakes I will continue in English. We would have liked a place to hang a hat and a purse. The gentleman who took our order was impatient as we were translating from English and French. A waitress brought us a second bottle of wine not having seen we already had one. the Zucchini cold soup was lovely as was the truffle risotto. We had to wait for a second bottle of water. In times of "canicule" I think this was a mistake. I love the new addition. The green grass was beautiful. The 400 plants along the path to enter the establishment are terrific. I love the idea that one can open or close the glass wall. I was afraid the addition would be too modern but it blends in well with the original farm buildings.

8.5/10Beautiful place with view on the Grignan castle. Service is excellent and new pavilion tastefully rebuilt. My only problem is the menu which has remained the same since last year. I agree with a small tasty menu but please change it for those who would like to return more often.

10/10Friendly staff, cosy evening atmosphere with little table lights. we ate a delicious pumpkin soup and a beef filet of exceptionally good quality. Excellent wines by the glass, Croze Hermitage at 8 euros. We stayed in the hotel which had a huge bed and ultra modern bathroom. I would recommend this establishment.

5.5/10La ferme dus Chapouton looks a million dollars when You arrive.Beautiful restored farmhouse with pretty gardens. The lunch menu was ok but nothing more.Service was not professional. Most of the waiters had dirty shoes and trousers. The dishes were served rapidly with no pauses inbetween. It looks very classy but is not. It's a pitty.

5.5/10The most arrogant manager I met in a few years, definitely not welcoming. I want to feel welcome and at home in a restaurant and this was exactly the opposite. Maybe they judged us on the kids because it was full of old age people?

8/10We were well received, with a table looking onto Grignan Castle. The menu of the day was chicken, we decided to take à la carte. Eggs mollet was delicious with a supplement of truffle, only 5euros extra. We had superb roast rack of lamb as main, generously served with 3 cutlets. Local wine by the glass was delicious and the panacotta to finish really good. Not cheap, 124 euros for 2, with 2 glasses of wine and 1 beer, but the quality and service were worth it. I would recommend this restaurant.

7.5/10Service was average at best. Slow to assist with infant, forgot to bring glasses of wine twice but ensured to remember to put them on the bill. Food was good but not outstanding with the chicken tagine a little under seasoned. That being said, a lovely setting. Small improvements will make a huge difference such as waiters owning their zone - we spoke to 3/4
