Amazing view and food!

Very small and awfully overpriced wine list. We ordered a champagne of over €110, and knowing we are looking at more wine to order for the mains, the sommelier was very(too) fast on pouring the champagne, full glasses and within 15 minutes, the bottle was emptied. Gambas starter was good, fresh and flavored to the point. Tuna from the main was nicely smoked but way too salty. It’s like eating salami as main. Risotto was equally disappointing, more like a congee w cream than risotto. During the meal we were onto 2nd bottle and of course no more luxury of having the service so we were pouring ourselves. I waited to see if anyone coming to pour the wine, not that I have to have the service but when I’m paying 4 times the price, I do expect the service. the waiter literally walked pass by asking the neighboring tables if anything is needed, ignoring our table to avoid taking the bottle from my hand Deserts: apricot cake, dark chocolate mousse both have fake flavoring taste

Waiters are nice, but too expensive in general, food not great, not much seasoning, quite "flat" taste-wise

The food was ok, nothing special. The restaurant was absolutely packed and obviously popular with a beautiful view of the chateau. However we felt it was all rather impersonal and produced like a factory.

Great view! Good food. Our waiter puts one of the plates on the table, it almost felt on my skirt. The waiter didn’t say or do anything!

Lovely place to seat, with view to Château Grignan. Excellent service, good authentic food and a wonderful choice of lovely desserts Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

A wonderful evening - looking up at the château which was bathed in the glow of the setting Sun whilst being served delicious food by attentive staff - what more could you ask for?

The restaurant is a great location and is very well presented. The stater was good and very tasty but the main course was disappointing (undercooked for risotto and bitty). Both courses were clearly pre cooked and it was very evident that this was the case. The stater came within 1 minute of being ordered. The main course immediately after the first courses was removed. Service was very fast, The service from the waitresses was excellent but the head was surly and dismissive. He was clearly unhappy that we were not drinking wine! He would not serve tomato juice (on the menu) and then not prepared to offer an alternative. All the deserts also looked very redone. Overall disappointing for what looked a superb find

We already knew the place and loved it. Regarding the food quality, for one of the main courses (scallops) the quantity and quality were disappointing. Regarding the service and atmosphere, they have built a large extension that is probably nice in the daylight, but for a Xmas evening was cold and impersonal. When I raised the issue with the the scallops the answer was that the quantity was right and that they would tell the chef. I believe that I won't repeat the experience.

The food was wonderful especially the truffle dishes! The servers were astoundingly attentive and should you wish, they speak English! Highly recommended for a great meal!

Good food and really nice view. Desserts are great. Service was not super - lot of things were missing / forgotten and the new set-up feels a bit like a cafetaria.

Beautiful place with view on the Grignan castle. Service is excellent and new pavilion tastefully rebuilt. My only problem is the menu which has remained the same since last year. I agree with a small tasty menu but please change it for those who would like to return more often.

Friendly staff, cosy evening atmosphere with little table lights. we ate a delicious pumpkin soup and a beef filet of exceptionally good quality. Excellent wines by the glass, Croze Hermitage at 8 euros. We stayed in the hotel which had a huge bed and ultra modern bathroom. I would recommend this establishment.
