10/10The best dinner of the trip. We visited Spain and wanted a special dinner to wrap the trip and La Forquilla was a great surprise. The chef is impeccable and dishes to die for. We had seafood appetizers and main courses, and they were creative and delicious. The portions are not small and the flavors perfect ! From the bread prepared in country style wood oven to dessert, it was fantastic. A Michelin star restaurant, in our opinion. The room Has 7 tables and is decorated in a clean way. Details are noticed in all aspects. Highly recommended. A gifted chef.

10/10What an amazing chef - I wanted to lick every plate clean. It was all so tasty, and it’s beyond amazing that he did everything from cooking to serving single handedly. Such a personal service and beyond my wildest expectations. Phenomenal- I would give more than five stars if I could. It won’t be long until he has a Michelin star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

10/10We had a fantastic evening that will be the highlight of our trip to Barcelona. The food was unusual, tasty and imaginative with each course surprising us with something new. We were constantly changing our favourite, but finalised on the pork: mouthwatering, melting, crispy but moist and the coconut cake: sweet and sharp and very tangy and textured, with foam and shards. We left planning our next trip to Barcelona to come back again. Thank you Vidal, you shared your enthusiasm for the food and wine and impressed us.

10/10For a special occasion you want the restaurant and the food to be excellent, La Forquilla was lovely, the tasting menu had some twists that surprised and pleased. The wine pairing allows the opportunity to taste traditional Spanish wine not normally seen outside Spain.

10/10Chef Vidal is the only person working in the restaurant. He does everything and does it wonderfully. A seven tasting course menu at 60 Euros, incredible! Chef Vidal explanations for every wine is very very welcome. Bravo

10/10What a gem of a tiny restaurant with only 6-7 tables. Vidal is the chef and greeter and server. How he does it all so well is a mystery (maybe an identical twin brother…?). The food is very fresh and tasty and not expensive by US standards. Highly recommend for an intimate, romantic dinner in Barcelona.

9/10What can I say other than: "it's a one-man show" as the waiter is also the chef and owner. While a unique set-up, the food, wine pairings, and service were absolutely outstanding and at a high standard. Excellent option especially if looking for a restaurant that isn't loud las the owner only takes a few reservations every night.

10/10So happy we found this little gem which became the best dining experience for us in Barcelona! We would highly recommend the tasting menu experience and the wine pairing was more than worth the extra fee. Excellent food prepared and served by the kind and friendly owner/chef. If you’re a foodie don’t miss the experience as every dish is presented in detail. Enjoy!
