9.5/10Found this place last minute while in Florence and they had 50% off on the Fork. We got a 1.4kg T-Bone to split with a side of potatoes and two glasses of wine. The steak was delicious and just as good as any high priced place in my opinion. Potatoes were a good filler. For 2 people to eat as well as we did for only 75€, this place is a no-brainer. Highly recommend and staff was friendly!

8.5/10Me and my friends we ordered different kinds of pasta. The food was delicious, the portions were adequate. The exeperience was overall good, the only thing was we waited for a long time for someone to take our order, and then to bring our food.

8/10It would be nice if you ask for something and the waiters just bring it without making you feel bad, we ask just for balsamic and the waitress made a disgusting face. Just let us eat, we’re not Italians. ♥️

6/10We have been to La Grotta Toscana many times and enjoyed it, but last night I was very disappointed in the food. The ossobuco was overcooked and dry. The bistecca was tough and parts were raw. The place was mostly empty, however, the servers were not very attentive. I live in Florence and I was embarrassed to entertain out of town visitors at La Grotta Toscana last night.

2/10It's really the worst restaurant of my life. The meat is very tough, I feel like I'm chewing rubber. And the staff is racist and they don't even say hello. It's like they don't want to work. Don't ever go, everyone. I regret it.

Dear costumer,thank you for your review but you had had been a very obnoxious person since you entered the restaurant,just as you owned the place careless of the fact that there were other costumers,you pretended to be the most important costumer in the room..Incapable of communicate that day,but as I can see capable of writing the review.The waiter came along two times to ask you if everything was fine and you said nothing but it was fine.My STAFF is not racist but,, just like me do not get pleasure of having a illeducated, illmannerd obnoxious costumer.So keep your lies to yourself and please do not come back to us.You did not got mistreated or avoided,you just didn;t deserved to be cared for.

9/10The Ribollita was fantastic as was the lasagna. We didn’t try the steak. The hamburger was ok. Beautiful ambience in a building dating back to the 1300’s. Enjoyed 50% off with The Fork!

3/10I ordered 1.4 kg of the most expensive steak on the menu (9.5 euros per 100 g / minimum order 1.4 kg), of which 40% or more seems to be bone weight. The entire bone comes out in the form of an L-bone. I asked the staff, and they said that if you want to eat the tenderloin part, you have to order over 1.6 kg and that it is because of the good meat. Why does it have to do with a lot of bone and good meat? The server only came when I ordered, served, and finished eating and cleaned up the bowl. Even after cleaning up the bowl, the server didn't bring us a bill for 10 minutes, so I had to go to the till and pay.

Dear costumer,thank you for you comment. You must have misread the menu,because everything is written,for what it concerns the bone,you must realize that " thicker is the steak, the thicker is the bone",cannot sell them separately. Normally we do give the bill when asked for,not as soon as we clear the table,it would look very bad. The minimum cut is decided from the size,big animal it means big sorloin and have to follow the bone for the cut(I think is righterous to inform you about that). Next time try to follow the advice the waiter gives you,then after you are in the right of write such a nonsense. my best regards DB
