Excellent food and service! We enjoyed our lobster and sea bream with a perfected selected white wine to the meal. We will go back here next time we are in Paris

5.5/10You will be seated next to the bathroom if you are an American even though majority of the restaurant was empty. Seems like they only want business from locals since they were not seated next to the bathroom. Service charge is included in French restaurants but they asked me if I wanted to leave tip which I thought was odd. I would not go back.

7.5/10The Cesar salad is NOT a Cesar salad. Tomatoes? Egg? Mon dieux! There are countless recipes for Cesar salad. I suggest you follow one. It was such a disappointment.

10/10The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. The only down side was when the waiter asked me how much I wanted to leave as a tip, which I found embarrassing. This was probably done because we were American.

This was our fourth visit to La Mascotte in three trips to Paris, which tells you how much we love it. Each and every dish on this visit was really exceptional, from the vast oyster platter (with whelks and cockles and clams, too) to the fish soup to smoked haddock atop lentils with a soft-cooked egg. All simply wonderful, and we were given superb treatment by server Nasir. It's worth a trip to Montmartre to dine at this charming spot.

10/10This is a predominantly seafood restaurant which was a gamble for me - I opted for humble fish and chips- and wow was it good! I live in a fishing port (Amble) so the bar was set high for me. The meal was superbly presented and the fish was delicious. The evening coincided with Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivée celebrations so the small bar area was jammed! Live music, good food and lots of happy people made for a memorable evening

10/10My very picky husband said the beef was the best he had ever had- that was quite impressive, as he has eaten beef all over the world. The oysters and mussels were plentiful, delicious, and not too expensive.

8.5/10We chose to sit outside which is noisy and busy. The food and service are very good however, for the price, it wasn’t the right atmosphere. I think if you want to sit outside and soak up the Montmartre atmosphere, go and buy a bowl of noodles for €20 somewhere. La Mascotte is definitely an eat-inside vibe.
