10/10A fantastic seafood restaurant with the high quality you’d expect in Paris but because it’s not in the very centre you don’t have to pay the ridiculous prices to enjoy it. Also the wine list was very reasonable and we enjoyed a great vintage Chablis with our platter. I highly, highly recommend!

10/10A real gem in the heart of pretty Montmatre. Our morrocaan waiter was so friendly and accommodating. His recommendations for the oysters, perfect egg dish, sea bass and strawberry tart were marvellous. The food is expertly presented and equally delicious. It was a wonderful experience and we will return next time. Thank you for a fantastic experience in your restaurant.

10/10The service waiter Neser was extremely excellent having such a beautiful communication between clients was a fantastic experience. he’s à very hard working and generous soul giving all the attention needed to having a wonderful evening. Not to mention the food which was surprisingly superb and delicious.

3/10I have travelled to 60 countries and it was a first time that in a restaurant I was served cardines in a tin placed on a plate. Three American ladies at the next table asked whether it is common for France to serve in a "TIN" in a restaurant?! I was very embarrassed for this French restaurant.

6/10The restaurant had no wait conditioning or fans and on a 36 degree day made the dinner experience very unpleasant. We also didn’t like the pork dish offered. Even though we let the staff know, they didn’t pay any attention to the feedback. It was a disappointing experience

10/10We had an incredible waiter who helped us choose our dishes. (We had choosing fatigue) We shared a starter of snails, my husband had the risotto with shrimp and I had the Sea Bream with vegetables and a glass of rose wine. It was delicious. The restaurant was clean and the bathroom was nice too. It’s a great little piece of history and everyone in the restaurant was kind.

9.5/10We booked this restaurant for Christmas Day lunch as we were a large group of Australians in need of seafood ???? it didn’t disappoint. Atmospheric & full of people our table was down the back which had loads of light. The wines were delicious- we had a Sancerre & Fume Blanc @ 35 Euros, also a merlot. Our entrees of salmon, foie Gras & St Jacques the best we have had. Then oysters ???? then main courses - steak tartare, veal, fish soup, steak & frites. We were not rushed & thoroughly would recommend this restaurant. They were busy but patient with our broken English.

10/10Wonderful as always… fantastic friendly service. Food and accompanying wine suggestions very good. Always a treat. We sat upstairs which was elegant and a little quieter than downstairs. We will return!

9.5/10Everything about la mascotte is wonderful! Every time I go, it’s a whole experience… from the wonderful waiters, the excellent food, and the delicious wine! The only thing I would recommend is, when you have the choice, always take a table downstairs, as the ambiance is way more lively ????

9/10Really a must for oyster lovers - recommend following the locals and having lots of oysters, skipping main course and heading straight for dessert. Nice staff friendly service - gets very busy after 9 but we’ll worth a visit Great wine list also

3/10We booked a table for 9.00pm, By the time we managed to order, there was no sole, lobster, my wife just had some oysters and prawns. It was like the cheese shop sketch from Monty Python. It was a disappointment on her Birthday.

9/10We have been here last year already, and returned on our visit to Paris this year because of the nice service and good food we expierienced. Actually, the waiter today was incredible and topped our experience from last year. Food is fantastic, - just one point less because of the - for me - some to fatty pork- but should 've chosen fish here, as this is their strenght...

10/10Fabulous selection of fish, treated ourselves to the king of fish “Dover sole” and monkfish together with a super bottle of Rose. If we ever return to Monmatre it will be a definite.

5.5/10Food is very average, bland taste and expensive. We ordered the miso cod, steak and fish and chips and all were bland & boring like a microwave meal. Waitress was nice. But I would not come back to this place!!

10/10Absolutely amazing fresh seafood. Oysters from Normandy & Brittany amazing!! Live lobster they bring out to show you before it’s cooked! The BEST service we had in Paris. Will recommend and visit again when back in Montmarte! Merci!

7.5/10We know this restaurant for many years and loved it most in Paris this year obviously the manager changed and we had an unfriendly welcome. Our fault was, that we came too early for french customes(1830). Finding finaly our favorite table in the empty restaurant , une "belle sole" was served, that was it. the service then ended rapidly. We hope the Manager was only strange due to the extreme heat these days (37°}. Since there is one of the best oyster ect. opportunity we will take a chance to come back in winter and hope the best.

6.5/10Visited this restaurant as it was listed in the Lonely Planet guide for Paris as a great seafood restaurant. Ambiance at 7pm was very quiet, but became busier by the time we left. Waiter service was good. Food on the whole was ok, but my monkfish came out very undercooked. Whilst this was rectified, it was less excusable as seafood is their speciality. Probably wouldn’t go there again as our first choice.
