10/10We really enjoyed our meal at La Pace del Palato! The cabonara was my husband's favorite meal of the entire 2 week trip around Italy. Great ambiance and staff was attentive and knowledeable. Would definitely recommend!

10/10Table for 4. A slow paced set of outstanding plates. After an interesting “amuse bouche”, a series of appetizers (cheeses, prosciutto, grilled zucchini and melanzane). For mains, 2/4 had the meatballs with potato purée, 1/4 amatriciana and 1/4 carbonara (so rich & creamy!). No room for dessert but we sat there enjoying the historic ambiance and finishing a very nice bottle of local Syrah. Add told, 150 euro … for central Rome, a very reasonable price for an excellent meal served by excellent and attentive staff. The owners stopped by twice to see how we were doing and the chef made the rounds to see what was going on in dining room.

10/10Food was sensational when it finally arrived. Delicious on the house eggplant. Aperitif like red liquor balls. Delicious fresh bread and olive oil then yummy appetizers. Then the wait began and we waited waited and waited not sure why really but when the food emerged we were hangry and the food was Devine.

8.5/10The place is super nice and you can tell that is authentic Italian food. The waiter and hostess are soooo nice they make you feel at home. I would come back just for the vibes inside. The food was good nothing mind blowing but it was tasty and well cooked overall good restaurant and great experience

10/10I had come here 9 years ago with family and friends and had an amazing experience. I wanted to recreate that with my current travel companions and my family but was nervous at how it might hold up to the memory 9 years later. Any anxiety I had left the second we sat down. The owner was there and it was the same guy from 9 years prior. The whole family invites you in and they are so passionate about the food and making sure everyone enjoys themselves. A diamond level experience. I will never visit Rome and not come here at least once.

10/10A delightful restaurant, with such lovely owners who were very attentive and clearly cared about our experience throughout the whole meal. You need to allocate a minimum of a few hours for dinner, but the quality, service and atmosphere were top notch. I'd go back in a heart beat. Highly recommended.

10/10My husband and I were looking for a traditional Roman restaurant to try Roman cuisine and this spot was perfect! Food was AMAZING!! I loved the servers and the ambiance. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and try the chefs choice starters!

10/10This was a wonderful restaurant ... right in the middle of tourist Rome, just off the Piazza Navona, but the complete opposite of a tourist trap. There was a mix of diners, both locals and tourists, and the staff were fine with English ... so long as one speaks slowly and clearly. The food was outstanding! Every dish was superb. I would like to single out just one simple dish, the carbonara pasta. This is a standard dish, found in just about every Italian restaurant around the world. But I have never eaten a carbonara like this. And then I realise ... you need top quality ingredients, carefully chosen in the right proportions, the eggy sauce not too solid not too runny ... just perfect. The bite size pieces of bacon ... just the right kind with the right flavour. And the pasta itself! And this is the secret of good Italian cuisine ... a simple dish, but perfectly executed. It couldn't be faulted. Service was warm and friendly, though a little slow for me ... I was dining on my own. And in all fairness, at all the other tables, the pace of service seemed just fine, and matched the animated conversations that I could see were taking place. The price, for such quality, was modest. I also have to add the word honest to describe this place ... as I've been ripped off at other restaurants in Rome. To sum up, a wonderful restaurant and a great experience.
