Love the traditional Roman restaurant. Lovely ambience and friendly staff. I enjoyed dinner with friends this time and each of their pasta dishes were excellent. I ordered grilled calamari and it was possibly undercooked. Flavor was good but there was too much moisture in the tubes. Even though it wasn’t a perfect experience, I love this restaurant and will be back.

A lovely experience. The food was authentically Roman, well served and attractively presented, accompanied by a good selection of inexpensive, delicious wines by the glass from the region. We were pleased to see the Patrone enjoying some of the same dishes we savoured. He is a congenial man who acknowledged us warmly when it was time to say buona notte. The ambience was enhanced by warm lighting, tablecloths, artwork and the happy absence of intrusive restaurant music. We look forward to a return visit to Pentolaccia.

We visited this lovely restaurant on our last night in Rome and I’m so pleased we did. We were greeted so warmly by all the staff and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and portions were generous. A wonderful culinary experience with great service, we highly recommend a visit.

The food was good and one waiter definitely did a great job. The other made us wait while a table was free and then did not apply the fork discount to our bill.

There were three of us eating there today. The service was very good, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. The cacio e pepe and spaghetti carbonara were just okay compared to what we had at other places. The saltimbocca, however, was not good at all. The meat was thick and chewy. It was not a pleasant experience. All in all, we feel that it didn’t live up to what we had expected.

What a wonderful dinning experience! The owner greeted us the minute we arrived, the place was full so he offered us a glass of wine, and assured us a table was about to free up. Sure enough a table became available and sat down. The meal was fantastic, I had the lamb chops and my wife the calamari and shrimp pasta, both Devine. Highly recommend!!!!

My husband and 1 went to this Restaurant to celebrate his Birthday. We had such a wonderful evening . Maninder (Mani) our waiter was exceptional. So warm , friendly charming and professional. He made the evening perfect for my husband. The food and wine were delicious. My Lasagna was the best I’ve had in Rome . We will definitely be visiting this restaurant again when we are in Rome .

We came back to La Pentolaccia for the second Saturday in a row. What a wonderful and warm restaurant - not too big and not too small. Excellent service and ambience and, of course, food. Mani (spelling?) is a terrific server.

It was ok, probably a bit expensive for the quality, but service was good and food was fine.

This is a good family run traditional Italian. The menu is a little unadventurous but the quality is very good. The waiter was charming and helpful.

Mani was the most excellent server. His knowledge of wines was very educational. We definitely recommend this fine restaurant.

This is a wonderful, warm and comfortable restaurant. The menu is varied and the service is excellent. Try the veal scallopini with a side order of grilled vegetables-superb!

Food was delicious and our server was lovely! After a long travel day, this place was perfect and we were starving for pasta and seafood/saltimbucco/lemon chicken… so happy we ate here upon the recommendation of our host.
