A lovely experience. The food was authentically Roman, well served and attractively presented, accompanied by a good selection of inexpensive, delicious wines by the glass from the region. We were pleased to see the Patrone enjoying some of the same dishes we savoured. He is a congenial man who acknowledged us warmly when it was time to say buona notte. The ambience was enhanced by warm lighting, tablecloths, artwork and the happy absence of intrusive restaurant music. We look forward to a return visit to Pentolaccia.

We visited this lovely restaurant on our last night in Rome and I’m so pleased we did. We were greeted so warmly by all the staff and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and portions were generous. A wonderful culinary experience with great service, we highly recommend a visit.

There were three of us eating there today. The service was very good, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. The cacio e pepe and spaghetti carbonara were just okay compared to what we had at other places. The saltimbocca, however, was not good at all. The meat was thick and chewy. It was not a pleasant experience. All in all, we feel that it didn’t live up to what we had expected.
