10/10The menus are very creative and great if you want some less meat centric options (I know this is not what Bologna is all a about). The fish was fantastic. Service was very kind and unrushed. Highly recommend!

10/10Food was really nice but the thing that made the difference was the service. Both friendly and professional they help us with the wine and they hit it spot on. Also they corrected a mistake in our bill that I didn’t see and was willing to pay. Thank you for everything!

10/10Just a few minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore and you’re in a residential area and can find this great restaurant. The wines and ingredients are sourced locally and the preparation and presentation are perfect. This was the best dining experience we had in Bologna.

10/10This small restaurant was a great find! The staff were super welcoming, telling us passionately about their recommendations, and the service was good. Also, the food was very very tasty. Do try the apperitivo with mortadella and the ragu pasta. You won’t regret it.

10/10Excellent dinner at La Svolta, the hostess was charming, the wine good value and the food quality was excellent with delicious local specialities and some inventive dishes i hadn't tried before. Particularly notable was the pork loin dish - tender and beautifully cooked.

10/10We were greeted quickly by the manager Enza. She was very friendly and a genius at pairing our food with 3 local wines. We ordered an appretizer, pasta and dessert. All the food was expertly made and very tasty. The restaurant has a cool retro vibe and deserves your reservation. Guten appetite!

9.5/10This restaurant was lovely! My brother and I eat mainly vegetarian, and they had plenty of dishes to accommodate our dietary needs. The staff were all very kind and attentive (despite our not speaking Italian). The price was excellent for the quality of food.

9.5/10Very friendly service and interesting concept with seasonal dishes and fresh ingredients. Easygoing atmosphere. The polpettine di mortadella as Antipasti was amazing and the tiramisu with orange was a great way to finish the evening.

10/10We had such a wonderful time. The staff was outstanding and hilarious. The food was very very good. I was very surprised at how many wonderful dishes we could try. A lot of extra attention to detail was given. So much fun for everyone. Just don’t eat for two days before you go

10/10The food here was amazing. The mullet ceviche was divine and the mortadella meatballs in Parmesan sauce inspired. We also were impressed with the tagliatelle with ragu and the gnocchi. I loved the mackerel secondi I had. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English and the seating outside was comfortable. We can't wait to return.

8/10Svolta was recommended by a friend, iike me a former chef. I and three other diners had three different entrees: The meatballs with fried egg, Quinoa with vegetables, house made whole wheat fettuccine with ragu. Meatballs were great, the soupy and very salty sauce less so. Quinoa did not have much flavor nor did the vegetables. Disappointing. Pasta was delicious as was the sauce. Desert was underwhelming

10/10We had great food, especially the risotto and the dessert of pumpkin cream with ginger was delicious. All locally produced many dishes that are not necessarily the standard heavy Bologna cuisine. Also, really nice staff!

10/10This small restaurant is fantastic. Sparse and simple decor. The small staff of chef and waiter is knowledgeable and attentive. The food is modern and some dishes experimental. The menu evolves and changes seasonally. Every dish is delicious. Really outstanding. Ask the chef, he will suggest the perfect dish for you to enjoy. There is a piano near the front of the restaurant with a local musician playing classical music. It’s really magical.
