8.5/10Service was very good. Staff were genuinely interested in meeting client needs. Unique menu leaning toward vegan options. The Porkbelly dish was quite “light” for the 20 euro cost, consisting of two strips of pork but nicely plated.

10/10Great selection of tasty dishes and combination of flavours. All made with fresh ingredients and served with homemade bread. Also amazing wine selection and delicious desserts. The staff are lovely, La Svolta is definitely recommended!

8.5/10Very friendly restaurant. The service is a must! The place is simple. We stayed inside because it was cold an rainy. The food is OK, but nothing particularly special. On the other hand, it is a good value for money. The red house wine was good.

10/10The menus are very creative and great if you want some less meat centric options (I know this is not what Bologna is all a about). The fish was fantastic. Service was very kind and unrushed. Highly recommend!

10/10Food was really nice but the thing that made the difference was the service. Both friendly and professional they help us with the wine and they hit it spot on. Also they corrected a mistake in our bill that I didn’t see and was willing to pay. Thank you for everything!

10/10Just a few minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore and you’re in a residential area and can find this great restaurant. The wines and ingredients are sourced locally and the preparation and presentation are perfect. This was the best dining experience we had in Bologna.

10/10This small restaurant was a great find! The staff were super welcoming, telling us passionately about their recommendations, and the service was good. Also, the food was very very tasty. Do try the apperitivo with mortadella and the ragu pasta. You won’t regret it.

10/10Excellent dinner at La Svolta, the hostess was charming, the wine good value and the food quality was excellent with delicious local specialities and some inventive dishes i hadn't tried before. Particularly notable was the pork loin dish - tender and beautifully cooked.
