+2The decor is an eclectic mix, but gives the place lots of charm. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful, especially the swordfish special.

All around a top notch experience. The pistachio crusted sword fish and seafood pasta were incredible. Great and welcoming staff. We highly recommend Tavernetta Uno da Simone!!!!

we were very satisfied with the quality of the food as well as the friendliness of the staff. I had the Bigotti with seafood and pistachio and really enjoyed it a great deal. My husband had the sword fish which was equally good. In spite of being in a very tourist street, the prices were very fair.

We came 10 minutes before reservation time. The staff ignored us and it occurred that we don't have the reservation made 2 weeks ago. The restaurant was full despite our reservation and there wasn't a free table for us. It was the last time we wanted to try food in this restaurant.

Food was delicious and service was excellent. We were very pleased a couple items we ordered to share and the kitchen plated them accordingly. Very friendly.

We return to this restaurant every time we come to Siracusa. Steady good food, perfect pasta frutti de mare, good location, nice staff. Now also digital booking system in place, so easy to book a table.

Our meal was disappointing overall. The first course pasta with seafood, which we shared, was tasty and full of seafood. However the insalata mista was unappealing - a pile of roughly cut radicchio and fennel with a bit of lettuce, that looked thrown together without care and didn’t taste especially good. The tuna rosso secondi special contained fat and gristle, and seemed like a second rate piece of fish — nothing like we’d eaten at other restaurants. Service wasn’t bad, but it took a second reminder to bring my husband’s glass of wine. Overall a mediocre meal at best.

Cozy restaurant and a menu with ample fish choices. Our dishes were delicious and our server was very professional and friendly.

Great tuna with grilled veg. Friendly service. House wine very good. Everything great. Would definitely eat there again.

They forgot to bring the wine. The food was below average in the sense that it was seafood pasta with not so much seafood. When the bill came they were charging for water that we had not ordered.

We were a party of four and every one of has outstanding dishes! We all highly recommend! Please note a reservation is a must- even on a Monday night off season!

Lovely location, ambiance and variety of food. Attentive waitstaff. Food was subpar compared to the 20 other dinners we had in Italy. Wine was excellent. The pasta itself was excellent. It was that the sauces that seemed to lack gusto. I would have liked it to give a higher rating but it is certainly a lovely restaurant that I would be willing to try again choosing different dishes.

The food was OK but not as good as we had at other restaurants in Ortigia. The service was also OK but a bit slow. We sat outside and enjoyed watch the people parade.

+2My entire family had an amazing dinner. The staff were attentive and pleasant. The restaurant is very comfortable. The food was incredible. The pasta dishes were fantastic and the fish dishes were delicious. Don’t miss out. My family would eat here again in a minute.

Great little restaurant in a great location! The food was really nice… excellent risotto with porcini mushrooms, the swordfish with pistachios encrusted( special )and sea bass with olives/ tomatoes and capers very nice! The grilled beef was nice, as was the carbonara! For starters… great bruschetta and caprese!

The staf was so sweet and humble. Nice food and overall just a very pleasant experience.

The food was fine, even good, but remarkably surly service, and an overbright interior made for an unpleasant meal. With so many other delicious looking restaurants with charming food around, it made me sad to have such a subpar experience.

Nice place. Keep to the primi, the milanese was not too nicely presented but the arrabiate was very good. Limited selection of wine as well but ok.
