In reading other reviews on The Fork, the only negatives noted were about noise from small children and ‘rushed’ service. Shortly after we arrived for dinner, the restaurant was completely full, all adults and half appeared to be locals. It was typically loud because of the low curved ceilings but not so much that it disturbed the conversation at our table. The Waitstaff were all young, bilingual women who were welcoming, attentive, efficient and fast in a tag-team sort of way. Many customers seemed quite content with the fast delivery of each course. We, on the other hand, wanted a leisurely pace, especially as we had ordered two bottles of wine to enjoy over three courses. We informed the ladies of that and they were entirely understanding and accommodating. The food was terrific, as was the wine, and we all enjoyed the ambiance.

This place is no better than an upmarket fast food restaurant. Our dinning experience was over in less than 45 minutes and that includes 10 to 25 minutes of choosing what to eat. Service cold and unfriendly, food heated up and for Italian standards very average. Bests me how this place survives never mind gets high ratings! Stay away from this over rated tourist trap!

The food was delicious! I had the melanzane as a starter and then the pappardelle with burrata and ricotta affumicata as a main, absolutely fantastic! Crema catalana for dessert! The best meal I had in Verona!

There are no words that can explain my experience of this treasure in a small alley of Verona. The nice little decoration outside of the restaurant was a good start to what would follow. The inside was warm and cozy. Nice big tables with comfortable vintage chairs, with nice designs on the wall, met with wonderful pictures and lots of wine bottles. The service was excellent. There was not one customer that felt isolated. I would like to thank the gentleman, who I believe to be the owner, for his recommendations on some of the dishes that were ordered. The food was super spectacular!!!! If anyone has a passion for food and wants to have a taste of heaven, then I definitely recommend this place. I thank everyone for their wonderful service and for sharing their treasure to us.

The servers in this place are in the wrong field. The hostess seemed disappointed to see us, and took us to our table without a word or smile.. the waitresses had no patience for our questions. We rushed through dinner and got out. Not the experience we wanted.

Value for my is not there! Service was below average, booked table and mentioned that it’s my wife’s bday, nothing was done! Apparently person I booked it with did not pass it on to next days shift so kind of disappointing!

We had late lunch and there were only few other tables occupied. Very nice ambient, nicely decorated, paid a lot of attention to details, very nice plates. The food was very tasty, traditionally prepared fish courses and home made pasta with mushroms. The service highly porfessional, always close but not intrusive. Thank you for nice time spent at your place. We will come again!

The food was superb and authentic, a very good wine list. Conveniently located on a small street in Verona's old section, not far from the Arena, Juliet's balcony, Castelvecchio, and shopping. Glad we found it!

We went there twice 6 years ago but bow I was dissapointed. Old bread, food on the table after 10 minutes, not asked if I would have the salad first, came together wits the main dish.
