No surprises. The best in town, always. From reception to waitresses, from pasteis de bacalhau to the couvada, superb.

The room is very quiet, well lit and beautifully decorated. It’s a perfect setup for a quiet night out. Food is absolutely amazing! Me and my girlfriend had the cod with corn bread and cod with cream. Decent size portions, wonderfully tasty and fresh. Service was very very nice! Always very fast and eager to help and assist us.

We really enjoyed our experience and the food was absolutely delicious. The bacalao was perfectly done and we really enjoyed the ambience. Service was nice, but slow, although it was pretty busy too. Overall excellent

Food was exquisite and decent portions. Cod is amazing, absolutely top notch. Dessert was fine, nothing to write home about. Price was slightly above average but unfortunately in line with Lisbon prices. Service was decent but kinda slow. Decoration was very nice and warm.

We loved this restaurant so much that we came twice during our stay in Lisbon. Everything we ordered was perfect. Their polvo a lagareiro was one of the best I’ve ever tried. Try to leave some space for dessert as they are also delicious

Upon arrival, they serve you codfish croquettes and cheese with olives, and they don't ask if you want them or not. You assume it's part of the meal, but it's not. They charge for everything separately. The grilled cod my husband and I shared was very salty. Overall, the experience was pretty bad. I'd give it a 6.

This is my favorite restaurant, and I want to go back to it again and again.

We were hoping to enjoy an amazing traditional piece of cod, but when it arrived it was so salty and quite raw in places. We weren't sure if this was the portuguese way of cooking it, so we continued eating it. The waitress didn't come back to check that everything was OK until we finished eating, though we couldn't finish it. We asked whether it should be that salty and she said "no", but by then we had had enough.

We enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant and the service was very adquate considering the restaurant was nearly full, which is a good sign. We ordered the Couvada bacalhau and it was almost perfect. The texture was flaky and smooth, just as one would expect it but, unfortunately, the bacalhau was too salty which took away from what could`ve been a very satisfyinf dinning experience. We ordered a bottle of wine (Planalto), which was a great pairing choice. We will return to try a different dish.

Cod is undoubtedly the star here, offered in several tempting variations. The one I chose was truly flavorful, and my colleague, who joined me for dinner, also thoroughly enjoyed his dish. The setting is simple but well-kept—nothing extraordinary, but perfectly in line with the main goal: enjoying excellent cod in a calm and pleasant atmosphere.

Laurentina is a very traditional place, with experienced staff and a very peculiar and pleasant decor. I have been there a couple of times and love the place. This time we started with pastéis de bacalhau, which were not as good as usual. Then the bacalhau lascado, a relatively simple preparation that works very well. It was a very pleasant evening. A sure place to taste bacalhau.

Service takes too long. Need to keep asking for the food to be served. The bacalhau com natas e espinafres (cod with sream and spinach) hardly had any spinach and had bones (not supposed to). The prices are excessively expensive for the amount of food given.

The reservation was made for a company and there wasn’t a garçon that would speak English(which is a really hard thing to find in Portugal) and the one responsible for the table was a bit rude. The food was overall good, but definitely not worth the money spent when service isn’t top. Be aware that there are almost no meat dishes. A lot of options for cod which is very Portuguese but should have more meat options. Again, note the service staff!

I was immediately seated and my water and wine order turned around quickly with two cod fritters as well which I choose to enjoy. My server assisted with my white wine and entree choice of the cod augratin with spinach, potatoes, onions, and a womderful white cheese sauce. It was delicious and very filling. The place overall was very busy but service was on que and attentive. My first time visit and I would highly recomend and return again. Thanks Jao!

Exceptional dining spot. We were fortunate to schedule an early dinner reservation. The staff provided excellent service. The flow of food was awesome. Highly recommend.
