Service takes too long. Need to keep asking for the food to be served. The bacalhau com natas e espinafres (cod with sream and spinach) hardly had any spinach and had bones (not supposed to). The prices are excessively expensive for the amount of food given.

The reservation was made for a company and there wasn’t a garçon that would speak English(which is a really hard thing to find in Portugal) and the one responsible for the table was a bit rude. The food was overall good, but definitely not worth the money spent when service isn’t top. Be aware that there are almost no meat dishes. A lot of options for cod which is very Portuguese but should have more meat options. Again, note the service staff!

I was immediately seated and my water and wine order turned around quickly with two cod fritters as well which I choose to enjoy. My server assisted with my white wine and entree choice of the cod augratin with spinach, potatoes, onions, and a womderful white cheese sauce. It was delicious and very filling. The place overall was very busy but service was on que and attentive. My first time visit and I would highly recomend and return again. Thanks Jao!

We had a great time, excellent cod (bolinhos de bacalhau are a must), delicious cherries for dessert and great wine, recommended by our waiter. 10/10 will go back. Great for groups and long dinners :)

The food had was good, unusual cod dishes. The problem is that all three of us were not thrilled about the taste. Maybe this is just not our taste. They specialize in cod fish, but have some dishes with other ingredients.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and what a wonderful find. Everything from the service to the quality of the food was excellent. A great way to try bacalhau local and regional specialties, the bras was the best I have ever tasted.

A very pleasant experience. I enjoy specialty restaurants such as this one, bacalhau being the specialty in this case. Professional staff, an ample environment and fresh food. You must order the pataniscas to start with!!
