We loved this restaurant so much that we came twice during our stay in Lisbon. Everything we ordered was perfect. Their polvo a lagareiro was one of the best I’ve ever tried. Try to leave some space for dessert as they are also delicious

Upon arrival, they serve you codfish croquettes and cheese with olives, and they don't ask if you want them or not. You assume it's part of the meal, but it's not. They charge for everything separately. The grilled cod my husband and I shared was very salty. Overall, the experience was pretty bad. I'd give it a 6.

We were hoping to enjoy an amazing traditional piece of cod, but when it arrived it was so salty and quite raw in places. We weren't sure if this was the portuguese way of cooking it, so we continued eating it. The waitress didn't come back to check that everything was OK until we finished eating, though we couldn't finish it. We asked whether it should be that salty and she said "no", but by then we had had enough.

We enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant and the service was very adquate considering the restaurant was nearly full, which is a good sign. We ordered the Couvada bacalhau and it was almost perfect. The texture was flaky and smooth, just as one would expect it but, unfortunately, the bacalhau was too salty which took away from what could`ve been a very satisfyinf dinning experience. We ordered a bottle of wine (Planalto), which was a great pairing choice. We will return to try a different dish.

Cod is undoubtedly the star here, offered in several tempting variations. The one I chose was truly flavorful, and my colleague, who joined me for dinner, also thoroughly enjoyed his dish. The setting is simple but well-kept—nothing extraordinary, but perfectly in line with the main goal: enjoying excellent cod in a calm and pleasant atmosphere.

Laurentina is a very traditional place, with experienced staff and a very peculiar and pleasant decor. I have been there a couple of times and love the place. This time we started with pastéis de bacalhau, which were not as good as usual. Then the bacalhau lascado, a relatively simple preparation that works very well. It was a very pleasant evening. A sure place to taste bacalhau.
