We specifically went for Duck Confit. Maybe the Duck Confit recipe is different in various regions of France, but I thought Duck Confit should be so tender if falls off the bone with a crispy outer skin. I'm American and had it several times in Northern France a year ago and the meat was so tender and flavorful while the skin was always crispy. This duck meat was tough the skin was fatty not the slightest bit crisp. Maybe this was intentional and a Southern France/Cannes recipe? We ordered still water for the table and we not only didn't receive it, they never came back to check on us. We would have both ordered another glass of beer and wine. The pepper sauce was very good.

Great food. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed the escargot as a starter and then had a variety of different meals. The peppercorn steak was phenomenal. Save room for dessert!

We highly recommend the 34.90 menu, actually 36.90 if you want the foie gras. Everything was delicious and service was excellent despite the restaurant being fully booked! We dined the evening of December 30th and it was packed with what seemed to be locals so it is imperative to reserve a table. We sat at the table nearest the door which made for fun people watching and also occasional fresh air. As usual in French restaurants, the toilets are downstairs so we did get to check out the lower level dining room which was extremely crowded with no windows so we recommend requesting a table upstairs.

We went to the restaurant as a group of four. All the dishes were very good. Especially the lamb shank and … wer awesome. The whole Menu costs only 32 euro (incl starter, main and dessert) and you can choose from a variety of dishes. The service team was very friendly and authentic. All in all way above average food for a way below average price in Cannes. We will come back again!

We really enjoyed our dinner. Foie Gras and all desserts were amazing! The staff was very polite and quick. We are staying in Cannes for longer so it will be our go to place now. See you next time :-)

Nice location, in a very ambient quaint avenue. The welcome was great and very friendly. This had been billed as Michelin star quality - its not. The seating was positioned under a shelf and there were in unrepaired rawl plug holes in the wall. The starters were OK and what you would expect from any Brasserie in France. 2 different main courses, the lamb was exceptional and very well cooked. The "tomahawk" streak was not. It was exceptional in the fact that the meat was at least 90% gristle and fat and also that it was not. tomahawk. Possibly bravet but for that type of steak under cooking doesn't work. At €40 a head in good location then I would say it was still below par even at that relatively cheap price, but just manage your expectations. Has to be said again, the front of house staff were very nice.

Lovely restaurant with passionate and kind owners that took great care of us. The duck was incredible, and the burger was also absolutely awesome! Lovely tiramisu as well, and such a cool restaurant. We loved it! Would wish for a kids menu as the plates were full and great :-)
