We did the 6 course tasting menu, the food and wine was wonderful, and the staff surprised us with sparklers and champagne with desert as we are getting married this week! The only negative was service was quite slow, and we were often sat without a drink or food, but I suppose that’s the relaxed french attitude!

A lovely restaurant with good service. I had the salmon starter which was fresh and really tasty. My husband had a mushroom tart to start which he liked but he said the dish could have been warmer. Mains were fine, the beef was really soft, could have done with some veg as it seemed heavy. My husband said “chicken is chicken “ about his main. Deserts were amazing! I had tart citron and he had poire, both were superb. Service was great and the prices were fair.

Really lovely food, beautifully presented with surprise amuse bouches, plenty of breads and delicious sweetmeats with the coffee. Great value, too.

I had eaten here once before, hence the return. This time we had the Chef's Menu, but while everything was lovely we did not like the sweet bread dish. We weren't the only ones, we saw another couple "having difficulty" with it and gave up after eating less than half of it. I'm sure the chef must have done a good job preparing it, but offal is not everyone's cup of tea, and thus the issue here is perhaps the staff should have issued a warning (or explanation) at the time of placing the order.

Lovely food, some of the best we have had in many, many meals in France. Pate de Foie was excellent. My lobster ravioli was good but needed more seasoning, or a piquant contrast. The turbot main was first class, beautifully cooked, but delivered piping hot. Deserts were simply amazingly.

This is a great place. Ate here in the summer while stopping in Rouen on the way back to the UK, and had no hesitation to book again when returning to Rouen in October. 2 set menus provide enough choice, and between all of us all the dishes we had were excellent. Good depth of flavour, well balanced dishes, well presented with courteous service, all at fair prices. Would happily hurry back next time I'm in Rouen

The staff was very welcoming, friendly, efficient, and spoke some English. The atmosphere was quite unusual but very visually pleasing. It was a bit more noisy than most restaurants in France, but not to the point that we could not hear and understand each other. The food and its presentation were outstanding! It was very appealing to look at, and the taste of each dish was better than the appearance. The Boeuf Normande was the best beef carpaccio I have had anywhere. I highly recommend this restaurant!

One of the best dining experiences in recent years and not too expensive either for a fine dining experience

The food for the most part is excellent, sadly a fish course was over cooked ans a lamb dish was a little tasteless. The service was adequate, the servers were not accommodating to English-speaking guests making little effort to aid our understanding.
