Seafood especially oysters are fresh and large size with reasonable price. Main course is perfect taste especially scallop with white wine sauce and French Onion soup. Desserts, we choose Mille - feuille which is very delicious and crispy. Next time must come again. This trip I went two times.

Ben the Maitre D was friendly funny and welcoming to us even though we were n’t French. I’m commenting because of some the previous negative reviews from tourists. The service was excellent and we were not rushed at all . They honored my request for a table by the window which was perfect . The starters and dessert portions were very large and easily shared. Highly recommend the Burrata . The duck confit was especially good and Mille Feuills We had a wonderful evening the only disadvantage was that there was no prix fix menu so the bill was pretty high

I should have known better than to go to a restaurant across the street from a massive (American brand) hotel. The food was fine, but not great. Definitely not worth the high ratings I found on Trip Advisor. Service was excellent, though the place was pretty empty at the time I dined.

Great location for the Marriott hotel where we stayed and service was good . However the food was very average - nothing special and pricey for what it was. There are much nicer bistros in the area. Having said that the couple next to us had the seafood platter which looked really nice and they said it was Excellant.

What a beautiful French restaurant. We were greeted and seated promptly in a quiet part of the restaurant. Our waiter was a delight. Never intrusive, but always there for assistance. We are never ones to rush an excellent meal, and the waiter conveyed this to the kitchen, so perfectly paced. Our food was cooked to perfection. My lamb shoulder was so tender. My husband had the rum baba for dessert......the first time a bottle of rum is left for you to add your own rum!!!! Fantastic. We would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area????????

attractive white tablecloth place. decent cuisine at above average prices. close to a large international hotel so perhaps good for weary travelers, not worth going out of the way. service was just okay. check your billing as we were charged for a second bottle of wine it was clear we had not ordered. it was swiftly corrected

Our Concierge recommended the restaurant as it was near our hotel. We loved being able to sit outside. The food was fresh and excellent and the staff very pleasant. We recommended it to other members of our tour group.

We arrived on time! The welcoming was ok. The staff looked stress. The maître D was not nice at all. Actually the 2 maître D’hôtel we’re not nice. Rushed us! That was our 2nd time at the restaurant and very very bad experience this time. But at least the 2 ladies who served us were nice . Let say that the 2MD if i go back i will tell them how pretentious they were

We ate at La Ballon des Ternes as it was around the corner from our hotel. Very lovely French cafe. Not everyone spoke English but that was just fine. We figured it out . Our server was great, the maitre’d was welcoming. We had a great meal and an even better bottle of wine,finished off with a cognac and dessert. I would go back

We stayed at the Hyatt and this restaurant is directly across the street. Easy to get to, easy to reserve and the food was very good. I would eat there again, if we get the opportunity.

This restaurant is around the corner from my hotel. It looked charming as we walked by, so decided to make a reservation for the next evening. Food was delicious and service prompt and friendly. Do try the onion soup. In addition to the soup, we had the foie gras, salmon, and duck confit. Portions are generous and after having the our starters and mains we could not find room for dessert. Would definitely recommend

We have been to Le Ballon des Ternes many times over the years and this visit was very disappointing from a food point of view. The saute potatoes were undercooked. The confit de canard was flabby. The cabillaud was just not appertising. We know that they get a lot of tourists and business clientelle but they seem to have really gone down hill.

Great Art Deco atmosphere. Food is very good. But prices can get high quite easily. We had good food, good time, but the bill for 2 passed 150 €, which I think is not reasonable.

Great location across the street from the Hyatt., which was convenient on a rainy day. Arrived at 7 pm and seated immediately at time of reservation. Sole meunière delicious and deboned for me at the table. Shrimp and veal dishes also quite good. Reasonably priced wines by the glass. Despite other reviews, we thought service was prompt and professional.

The restaurant locates in the centre of Paris, next door to the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile hotel, where i live. Nice location and the decoration of the place is nice as well. Overall environment is not very loud. For food quality, I ordered a main course-- shrimp with risotto; a dessert: Dark chocolate mousse and a glass of white wine. The shrimps in the main course was a bit overcooked, the meat of the shrimps tasted a bit dry, but the risotto is surprisedly good. The white wine also tastes nice, I like it. For the dessert, Dark chocolate mousse per se tastes nice. However, I felt really disappointed about service and this really disappointing part is related with the dessert. Firstly, a lady sat next to me ordered the same dessert, she got a well shaped, good looking one. Although she ordered later than me but got it first, but i could wait if I also get the good looking one; but the waiter forgot my dessert, I had to remind them; Second, when I got my dessert, it was very rough made and ugly one. Sad!
