The staff who attended to us and help us with ordering, servicing is excellent. However, the few senior manager in black suits are not friendly at all, just a level before I would call them rude. Yelled at me when I was trying to help him with a heavy plate, could be culture, but he did not have to yell. Very heavy handed when he took plates off our table.

9/10Very close to Le Meridien hotel, easy to book, excellent service, only downfall was we did not realise the steak was a braised steak in gravy not a steak as such but that was our misunderstanding of the menu - would recommend especially for an early evening dinner, we went at 18:00 on a Saturday evening in October and we got a window seat

10/10Located on the Rue de Ternes in the 17th arrondissement near the Port Maillot stop on the #1 metro line, this very traditional French restaurant features fresh shellfish and a good wine list, friendly patient service and well-presented food. I enjoyed the pate and veal. If you are near the Arc de Triomphe, take a few steps out of your way to visit this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

9/10Food here is well-prepared. Good bread and good wine selection. Entrees we had were cod and duck. Both were high quality and made with light, well-crafted sauces. Reservation was honored with an attractive window table.

10/10We went to Le Ballon des Ternes once and experienced their tuna in soy, sesame and honey sauce. What a joy! So we went back another night and had it again. Service was friendly and impeccable both nights. Go

6.5/10The place is beautiful. The service is geared to foreign tourists and the classic bistro food is “iffy”. The oyster bar is good but on the side of expensive. The wine list is limited and again, no bargain. I would avoid if the purpose is to have a real Parisien experience .

Seafood especially oysters are fresh and large size with reasonable price. Main course is perfect taste especially scallop with white wine sauce and French Onion soup. Desserts, we choose Mille - feuille which is very delicious and crispy. Next time must come again. This trip I went two times.
