Ben made our night! Exceptional experience. "Five stars for Le Ballon des Ternes! The food and wine were absolutely delicious, but the service provided by Ben was the real star of the show. His extraordinary high-level service combined with a great sense of humor made for an unforgettable dinner. We are already counting down the days until we can return next year. Highly recommended!"

The food and service was good; we were a group of 12. the only thing was the table placement, near the kitchen, with the sound of cutting bread all night in our ears

The staff who attended to us and help us with ordering, servicing is excellent. However, the few senior manager in black suits are not friendly at all, just a level before I would call them rude. Yelled at me when I was trying to help him with a heavy plate, could be culture, but he did not have to yell. Very heavy handed when he took plates off our table.

Very close to Le Meridien hotel, easy to book, excellent service, only downfall was we did not realise the steak was a braised steak in gravy not a steak as such but that was our misunderstanding of the menu - would recommend especially for an early evening dinner, we went at 18:00 on a Saturday evening in October and we got a window seat

Located on the Rue de Ternes in the 17th arrondissement near the Port Maillot stop on the #1 metro line, this very traditional French restaurant features fresh shellfish and a good wine list, friendly patient service and well-presented food. I enjoyed the pate and veal. If you are near the Arc de Triomphe, take a few steps out of your way to visit this restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

Food here is well-prepared. Good bread and good wine selection. Entrees we had were cod and duck. Both were high quality and made with light, well-crafted sauces. Reservation was honored with an attractive window table.

We went to Le Ballon des Ternes once and experienced their tuna in soy, sesame and honey sauce. What a joy! So we went back another night and had it again. Service was friendly and impeccable both nights. Go

Good traditional French food and excellent friendly service.

The place is beautiful. The service is geared to foreign tourists and the classic bistro food is “iffy”. The oyster bar is good but on the side of expensive. The wine list is limited and again, no bargain. I would avoid if the purpose is to have a real Parisien experience .

Grate food, lovely original French style restaurant!

Could have improved on customer service. Felt like we were rushed & waiter was abrupt…we didn’t understand the concept of lunch & dinner menus. We would have ordered more if we did
