Possibly on the day that we went there was more clients than was expected. Although the team tried, it was almost impossible to attend everybody. At least it was our impression. The atmosphere is nice, near the La Tour Cesar. Recommendation: start with a drink in the “basement” bar

The food was well prepared and the setting was lovely in a big shaded garden, right in the centre of Provins. Unfortuneately the service was extrememly slow, we had to wait more than 45 minutes for our main course, which, when it arrived, was cold. When we enquired about the delayed service the waitress retorted "on vous a pas oublie" but continued to serve the other clientele....what a pity we wanted to treat our 90 year old parents who, for health reasons, do not go out much to a nice restaurant...

We waited first 15 minutes to have someone ask if we wanted something to drink while waiting for our table. Seeing that no one was interested in us, we got into the dining room where we got a table. We waited there 40 minutes to have someone asking us if we were ready to order. When we asked for a vegetarian option the waiter was unpleasant and didn’t really have us option we had to come up ourselves with a solution and we paid full price for a meal where the meat was removed. Overall a strange experience. When asked if everything went ok we kindly mention the fact that we had to wait a little bit too long without having food, drinks or anything at all and our remark was basically ignored. Food overpriced.

+1Thanks and thanks again to the team and especially Valérie. The foody instant was perfect. From start to finish. went for the 'Menu Gourmand' and what to say : IMPECCABLE. Foie gras delight with the bitter citrus purée #BOOM. the Brie cromesqui, OMG! That truffle slurp. And to continue, my official second favorite fish after the ‘Turbot’ is now officially the ‘Omble Chevalier’. The fish was cooked to perfection, and when you reach that simplicity and perfection, that says a lot. Or that poulet de Challans, moist and so much flavor, especially that ‘farce fine’... And that finale of pistachio mille-feuilles. Couldn’t have done better myself. So don’t hesitate, with that terrasse, and that quality, this is simply the only good restaurant, borderline ‘Michelin’ bib of the Provins area. (price pp includes the very nice Sancerre from Thirot Domaine)

This was a gem of a place in a beautiful town. The food was excellent and service likewise

Throughout enjoyed everything on the blackboard menu. The presentation was as gorgeous as the taste.
