Meal was very disappointing. Gourmand salad was just left over vegetables and desert parfait was frozen solid

It's my third time at Le Bon Bock, and although the main dishes are just alright, what I like at this restaurant are the entrées and desserts. I like the onion soup and the escargots, and I think the latter gives good value for money especially with the discount on The Fork. The server was also nice enough to let my friend use their piano.

Our meal at Le Bon Bock was excellent; delicious authentic French food in an interesting and unique atmosphere, as the restaurant is one of the oldest in Monmartre and its decor reflects old school traditions. The dishes we tried were simple but flavorful at reasonable prices. The service was okay. There were 2 huge tourist groups seating at the same time as we were so the staff was a little overwhelmed, but the food was so good that wouldn't prevent me giving the restaurant a good recommendation. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting, just be aware that due to its location, tour groups are likely to show up anytime.

It's a lovely restaurant, very cozy with interesting art and live music. The food was also great. I went with a group of friends for my birthday and we enjoyed ourselves. It is generally affordable with a great ambiance and tasty food if you want a Parisian vibe without over spending. On top of that the discount through Fork was fantastic because I was hosting ;)

Le Bon Bok is a piece of old Paris well worth exploring. The traditional menu is classic French food, is well-executed, and is reasonably priced The wine list good and well priced. Our server was welcoming, charming and attentive. We ate well and enjoyed ourselves. A great place for when you need a bit of old fashioned easy going coddling and don’t feel up to the effort or expense of a fancy restaurant. I will definitely come here again.

Fantastic evening. Please ignore the poor reviews of Le Bon Bock. We were very lucky to reserve on a Friday evening. The staff were run off their feet, but the food was lovely and a real treat. We finished the night off with Absenthe, a great experiment in a very unique restaurant.

Just three of us to enjoy the atmosphere, the food and the live music. A feast on all thee counts!!! Not too busy and totally relaxing with lovely attentive staff and some impromptu piano and singing. Naturally we will go back on our next visit to Montmartre.

Le Bon Bock was exceptional. The decor and ambience of the place was exactly what we’d hoped to find and the food was unpretentious and absolutely perfect. My very particular and very experienced chef boyfriend was hugely impressed. We ate everything! The prices are also incredibly low! Unbelievable value for money. I could not recommend more highly

It was an ok little resto. Onion soup very strange (thickened and with apple flavor). Service was basic. Not the most professional. Doors kept opening and closing from young people associated with the restaurant and they sneezed when I asked them to close the door because it was cold with it left open,,,

What a discovery. A wonderfully compact and authentic restaurant which transported us back to another world as soon as we entered the door. The welcome was warm and genuine and the food was wonderful…. Good value and the ambiance supplemented with a pianist playing exceptional jazz. I had to try the absinthe fountain to round up a memorable evening in Montmartre. A must!!!

Loved the venue. Walked in and piano playing in the corner. Old fashioned and unique flamboyant decor. 3 course menu was traditional and filling. Service quick and helpful. Highly recommended. We went as a young family of five and the kids loved the food. Will go again next time in Paris.

This is not the first visit- the atmosphere, welcome, music and menu all combine to make this little place a must when we visit Montmartre. It is a glimpse of Paris in days gone by - a wonderful combination of relaxation, fun and conviviality. I had to try an Absinthe to round off the evening whilst listening to lovely music. So easy to find - close to a metro. I think it’s closed Mondays so plan a visit with that in mind.

My host in France suggested I eat here on my visit. It did not disappoint. Being one of the oldest restaurants in Paris, it was such a wonderful experience to have. The menu had amazing food at a very great price. I had escargot, duck, and creme brulee - all outstanding. Especially the escargot. I wanted to go a 2nd night, but they are closed Mondays, but if I come to Paris again, I will be back.

We have visited in the past and now make this restaurant one of our regular dining venues. It is cosy, quietly tucked on a Montmartre side street. Great food, friendly service, live gentle music and an evening rounded off with an Absinthe fountain experience. All good value and a fond memory of a happy holiday

A really atmospheric, cosy bistro with very traditional French vibes. Great food. We had confit duck, chicken in a Camembert sauce and a black pudding style sausage which my husband said was delicious. Easy to walk past if you didn’t know it was there but we’ll worth a visit for an authentic experience.

Interesting place. Not to be confused with one of Paris 's belle epoch gems, rather preserved slice of history, the kind of low key authentic neighborhood place that are slowly disappearing. Good food and service, reasonable prices. We live in montmartre and will return

Stumbled in by pure chance and got a classic French dinner, with a three course meal that was filling and felt homie and cosy. Would definitely choose it to go here to represent French classic food.

It's the fourth time that I come to this place and it's always a pleasure. Typical french dishes, simple but very good and perfect location to stop by after or before seeing the Sacre Coeur. I always appreciate the duck (both confit and parmentier) and the moelleux au chocolat. Small place with a good atmosphere, owners very nice and friendly!

This restaurant has been described as being a truly French dining experience. The food was well cooked, however, the onion soup was really thick and had thyme and possibly sage in it. I didn't care for it but my husband enjoyed it. The service was geared toward the regulars and, as Americans, we felt overlooked. Our orders were taken after several tables that came after we did and their drinks were refreshed several times. We were never given the opportunity to ask for a refill. The only thing that they did was to separate our check for us. I would not recommend unless you speak French fluently.

Food was great but English speaking tourists very unwelcome. Had an upsetting experience with the musician who publicly shamed us (to all French patrons) for an incorrect word choice while requesting music. We understand but cannot speak French which made the experience very uncomfortable. Otherwise a lovely restaurant with kind staff and beautiful food

This is the third visit over last year and we love the atmosphere, from the moment we walked into the place. The decor is so atmospheric- a peek into the days of Paris cabarets and artists. The menu was varied enough for the two of us to choose something special. I loved relaxing with an Absynthe fountain at the end of the evening, with live music provided by a pianist playing French chansons. Perfect.
