6.5/10Meal was very disappointing. Gourmand salad was just left over vegetables and desert parfait was frozen solid

7.5/10It's my third time at Le Bon Bock, and although the main dishes are just alright, what I like at this restaurant are the entrées and desserts. I like the onion soup and the escargots, and I think the latter gives good value for money especially with the discount on The Fork. The server was also nice enough to let my friend use their piano.

8.5/10Our meal at Le Bon Bock was excellent; delicious authentic French food in an interesting and unique atmosphere, as the restaurant is one of the oldest in Monmartre and its decor reflects old school traditions. The dishes we tried were simple but flavorful at reasonable prices. The service was okay. There were 2 huge tourist groups seating at the same time as we were so the staff was a little overwhelmed, but the food was so good that wouldn't prevent me giving the restaurant a good recommendation. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting, just be aware that due to its location, tour groups are likely to show up anytime.

9/10It's a lovely restaurant, very cozy with interesting art and live music. The food was also great. I went with a group of friends for my birthday and we enjoyed ourselves. It is generally affordable with a great ambiance and tasty food if you want a Parisian vibe without over spending. On top of that the discount through Fork was fantastic because I was hosting ;)

10/10Le Bon Bok is a piece of old Paris well worth exploring. The traditional menu is classic French food, is well-executed, and is reasonably priced The wine list good and well priced. Our server was welcoming, charming and attentive. We ate well and enjoyed ourselves. A great place for when you need a bit of old fashioned easy going coddling and don’t feel up to the effort or expense of a fancy restaurant. I will definitely come here again.

10/10Fantastic evening. Please ignore the poor reviews of Le Bon Bock. We were very lucky to reserve on a Friday evening. The staff were run off their feet, but the food was lovely and a real treat. We finished the night off with Absenthe, a great experiment in a very unique restaurant.

10/10Just three of us to enjoy the atmosphere, the food and the live music. A feast on all thee counts!!! Not too busy and totally relaxing with lovely attentive staff and some impromptu piano and singing. Naturally we will go back on our next visit to Montmartre.

10/10Le Bon Bock was exceptional. The decor and ambience of the place was exactly what we’d hoped to find and the food was unpretentious and absolutely perfect. My very particular and very experienced chef boyfriend was hugely impressed. We ate everything! The prices are also incredibly low! Unbelievable value for money. I could not recommend more highly

5.5/10It was an ok little resto. Onion soup very strange (thickened and with apple flavor). Service was basic. Not the most professional. Doors kept opening and closing from young people associated with the restaurant and they sneezed when I asked them to close the door because it was cold with it left open,,,

10/10What a discovery. A wonderfully compact and authentic restaurant which transported us back to another world as soon as we entered the door. The welcome was warm and genuine and the food was wonderful…. Good value and the ambiance supplemented with a pianist playing exceptional jazz. I had to try the absinthe fountain to round up a memorable evening in Montmartre. A must!!!

"Located at the corner of boulevard Rochechouart, at the foot of Sacré Cœur, le Bon Bock is a place full of history, it is even said to be the oldest restaurant of Montmartre. You will find the Parisian bistro of the novels of the 19th century: the soft lights, the wooden furniture, the antique chandeliers. In the kitchen, traditional French cuisine will be prepared for you. The dishes are simple and sumptuous, and you recall the flavors of a past era. We recommend especially granny's onion soup au gratin, a real treat! a location to discover absolutely, be it for a drink, to share a brunch with friends or for an intimate dinner. The restaurant regularly offers entertainment such as theme nights or concerts."
