10/10When we walked towards the restaurant we thought we may have made a mistake, but on entering, the welcome, ambience, food and service was second to none. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to go here.

10/10From stater to dessert, each food we had de-li-ci-ous! We definitely come back. Onion soup is a must. Stuff was very friendly and chatty as well.

10/10Jaqueline (the owner) is a spectacular host and made us feel very comfortable. She is an incredible woman who speaks 4 languages and knows what to suggest from the menu in order to make you happy. The beuf bourgignonne,le fois grois and le gratin are highly recommended (and they can be highly addictive). Vive la France, Vive Le Bouclard! Grazie mille, ci vediamo presto! Stella & Niccolò

10/10This restaurant was a pleasant walk away from Montmarte. The ambiance and the service were amazing. The owner noticed my mother primarily spoke Spanish, so she conversed with us in Spanish. She explained the menu well and made us feel comfortable. The food was AMAZING. The French onion soup and escargots were delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris.

10/10The reviews for Le Bouclard are all excellent and having eaten there last night we now understand why. We were welcomed and warmly looked after during our entire visit. After a glass of champagne and delicious appetisers I tucked into snails, followed by chicken and my husband had onion soup followed by veal kidneys, ending with mousse au chocolat to share which even came with a candle for my husbands birthday. The food was without exception, delicious and beautifully cooked. Even the bread was amazing! We highly recommend this delightful restaurant although in some ways would like to keep it a secret!

5/10Nice restaurant and good food, unfortunately dining as a single person was not very good. Placed in a corner with when the restaurant started to fill up found myself blocked in. Virtual impossible to get out. It's unfortunate as I paid £100 for my meal and wine and would hoped to have a better ambience experience.

10/10Amazing! The food and service was a 10/10, especially considering the price was very reasonable. We were visiting and our server was patient with our language barrier and made us feel extremely comfortable. I would recommend this spot to anyone in town!

10/10This restaurant is the best and most authentic French restaurant we have been to. We was welcomed by the most friendly lady who is the wife of the Chef. She made us feel like old friends and was the most fantastic hostess. The ambience was like we have seen in old French movies. The food was exceptional and the wine recommendation was perfect. We can only hope that we are so lucky that we can be able to visit this restaurant again.

10/10When you chose the Le Bouchard be prepared to Dine in the traditional French manor. You are there for your pleasure guaranteed by all from owner, chef and waitstaff to make it so. No attention to detail to too great in preparing you a gastronomic sensational meal. Nothing you chose on the well selected menu will be less than divine. Be sure to make a reservation so you won’t be left out.

10/10July 2023. Dinner for 2. A fantastic place. Authentic French. We were made welcome from the minute we walked in. Really friendly service and helpful with wine and food choices. Higher quality cooking and wine list. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you.

10/10We felt like we were back in time in this family restaurant surrounded by locals. Quaint, charming owner(?) with a cute sense of humor for Americans. She helped us with our feeble French, guided us on menu selection. Food was hearty and delicious!

10/10Charming restaurant off the beaten path in Montmartre. It really is a hidden gem. We were there for lunch. Th pastrami, served with two eggs sunnyside up, was the best I have ever had, melts in your mouth. It is marinated for a week then cooked for 48 hrs. The onion soup was full of flavor. Jacqueline treated us like family while we sat amidst locals drinking wine and talking politics with the owner Michael.

10/10Le Bouclard was recommended by a friend who is a frequent traveler to Paris. It did not disappoint! It is a charming little restaurant with a fabulous owner who is very charming and very attentive. The food is outstanding. I hope I have a chance to return soon.

10/10Hands down the best meal we had in Paris, and in the top 10 of my life. The 48 hour veal was unreal, the foie gras was served in perfect ratios, the deserts were on point. The service was fantastic and ambience was lovely. Don’t miss out on this gem!

7/10We had high expectations for this restaurant, but they were not met. We ordered the chicken because it was the restaurant speciality, and it was bland and the consistency was really strange. Apart from that, the restaurant is really beautiful and the staff is nice.

10/10If you decide to dine at Le Bouclard, expect a warm reception from Jaqueline as if you were longtime friends. The dishes are as described on the website but cannot be fully appreciated until the first bite. The atmosphere is eclectic and fits the idea of traditional dishes. My wife and I discovered the restaurant years ago. Reservations are a must. GTorres

10/10Loved everything about our experience here. We were welcomed upon arrival and seated at a precious little elevated nook. We thoroughly enjoyed the seasoned mushroom appetizer then went with the recommended veal specialty topped off by a flamboyant (literally!) dessert. Also loved the cozy atmosphere of this distinctive little restaurant!
