5.5/10The room was very loud and the waiters were rushing back and forth. They just dropped off our order, and didn’t even speak to us. My husband speaks French.

Aunt Paulette's chicken with garlic and gratin dauphinois - the signature dish - it really is outstanding. I dined twice at this restaurant during my stay in Lyon and ordered the chicken dish on both occasions. For travelers a bit unsure about the traditional bouchons dishes that Lyon has to offer, this restaurant's signature chicken dish is a good bet. Staff were lovely, very receptive and hospitable. The chef would peep out often from the kitchen to check diners were happy, obviously there is genuine care here from the team. Much appreciated.

A Lyonnaise bouchon serving classic and honest dishes. As tourists we were seated with the other tourists at the entrance and toilets. But hey, someone has to fill those seats. The service was otherwise very charming and we had a good experience.

Au contraire, nous plaçons les personnes au fur et à mesure de votre arrivée. Effectivement quand vous arrivez à 19h vous êtes placé en bas et au fur et à mesure nous compétons les places sauf demande express de votre part d’être premier étage, chose que nous faisons à partir de 19 heures sans aucun problème. 10/10On our final night in France my wife, me, and another couple had dinner at Le Casse Museau. This, after eating several wonderful meals in Burgundy. Eric and crew were wonderfully welcoming, which was followed up by a delicious Bouchon offering. I started with the oeufs followed by the quenelle brochet. When we return to Lyon we will come back again. Don’t hesitate to visit.

10/10Le Casse Museau is a charming little “bouchon” serving delicious dishes typical of this region. My friends and I tried a variety of the mains, salads, and desserts… an abundance of fresh ingredients! One friend raved over her pike dish. Of particular note, the owner and wait staff made our experience very enjoyable!

10/10We are an American family of four that love good food and wine. We loved the dinner and experience. The owner took our order and let me know that my American accent was butchering his language... I dropped my head in shame; but it was all good fun. The sweet breads, pork cheek, EVERYTHING were all delicious! We are so glad we made reservations and dined here. You will nor be disappointed.

9/10It is a very traditional lyonnaise restaurant. Warm welcoming ambience . It is a great example of lyonnaise cuisine : which means cream, cheese, and cream. The red meat seemed the best plat. We enjoyed the experience.

+1The food was out of this world… we especially enjoyed the eggs poached in red wine, quenelle and garlic chicken. The terrine was fine as was the praline tart… though not as outstanding as the rest of the meal. Sadly it was only 2:00pm and they had already run out of Tartatin. The wait staff was friendly and enjoyed making jokes and having fun with the guests. We would definitely recommend this homey, warm restaurant.

je vous remercie infiniment de votre retour, merci également des compliments sur le service et suivre la qualité des plats, pour l’ambiance, vous avez dû vivre une ambiance bouchon ou des fois certaines grandes tables peuvent être un peu bruyante et vivre pleinement leur expérience lyonnaise ou tout simplement c’est que ce sont des lyonnais qui ont plaisir à se retrouver dans les maisons qu’ils aiment. Pleasant ambiance, delicious food. Coming from Alaska. Never had such delicious pork on a bed of mustard, nor such delicious duck. Sound level is low.
