10/10Lovely small restaurant with a kind server who patiently explained the menu to me. (I’m not great at reading French handwriting so was not confident about my translation.) His wine recommendation was spot on for me and appeared to be for the table next to me as well. Had cauliflower soup with chanterelles to start. My main course was duck confit which was served with a nice fricassée and no less than 14 small potatoes (!). I also had as a perfect lemon tart. A fantastic value at about 50 Euros.

Chère Monsieur,à l'avis de votre femme sur google et le votre nous ne ferons qu'une seule réponse et c'est le mari qui vous répond pas le restaurateur. Vous êtes la preuve qu'on ne peut pas plaire à tout le monde. Ne vous méprenez pas,au delà des avis qui nous sont favorables, nous ne cherchons ni la lumière ni la gloire. Nous n'avons aucune prétention,surtout pas celle de se croire meilleur que les autres. Nous tenons notre restaurant tel qu'on est. Simplement & honnêtement. En revanche que votre femme nous expose en postant 12 photos est assez déplacé, elle aurait pu faire preuve de plus d'élégance et vous aussi. De la part d'un seul client celà n'arrive jamais! On dirait une enquête à la limite du voyeurisme.C'est donc ça votre métier?.Vous êtes venus flatter votre réputation et contenter vos followers. Accepteriez vous qu'on fasse la même chose sur vous? J'en doute. Il est plus aisé de detruire que de construire.On est toujours plus exigeant envers les autres qu'envers soi-même. Revenez à plus d'humilité

10/10This has to be my favorite restaurant in Paris. The food is incredible and the ambiance is priceless. I have eaten here several times in different trips and although the menu changes, the wonderful tastes, intimate atmosphere and kind service never falter! I can’t wait to eat here again on our next visit to Paris.

10/10Just a cosy friendly bistro with warm, personal service and reasonable prices. We were made to feel special, what more can one ask? The food (we had the perch and a beef dish) was cooked perfectly. We requested our host to choose a wine which he did gladly. The seating is intimate but not confining. One can share a word with a neighbour without feeling that one is joining their dinner. We look forward to returning.

6.5/10This is the kind of restaurant we seek out. Small, owner present and central to the operation, and with a general ambience that is pleasant. Our disappointment was in the reworking of traditional French standards in a way that did not enhance the dish, but simply made it different. For example, we ordered escargot and generation after generation has validated the presentation of escargot in itit’s shells with a nice little bit of butter and parsley, and perhaps a little garlic. These snails were removed from their shelves, and put into what I can only describe as a blend of greens and perhaps, although I’m not certain, some beans. The point is that we could hardly find the snails, and when we did they greatly missed their traditional butter sauce presentation. The other item that was very disappointing was the quail. The meat simply would not release from the bone without great effort, and you wouldn’t want to do this at a table with others present. It was a real battle to get any meat out of this quail. Now that is not unusual if the quail is not properly prepared. It is drier than chicken and it needs the kind of long slow cooking you get with sous vide, which does not dry out the already dry quail further. So I think that if they respect some of the wonderful traditional French dishes and not change them for changes sake, but only to make them more appealing and more delicious I think they will do fine. But our experience was disappointing.

10/10This restaurant was a great find! We had drinks there and met the chef and she gave us some delicious snacks while we enjoyed our drinks, this enticed us to head there for dinner the following night. The food was excellent and we loved the experience of watching a couple run a successful restaurant. Fantastic food and ambience.

9.5/10This was the last night in Paris. The service was excellent and the food was really good. We wanted to try duck, which was only available as a starter - luckily he asked us if we wanted to share the starter. I had a lamb stew, which was so tender and my wife had a fish that tasted really good. We just wanted a glass of wine and we could try it before choosing The dessert was also delicious

10/10Absolutely incredible. Wife and husband operation walkable but far enough away from the nuisance of the most touristy parts of Paris…and with the best food we had on the entire trip. The husband started with a in-depth explanation of the menu (changes every month) and the exact sourcing of some of the ingredients. Food flavor packed, good portion size, very reasonably priced (highly recommend the frog legs *chef’s kiss*). Even dessert, which normally I find to be similar across restaurants, was unique, clean, and tasty (we had the strawberry tarte). A mandatory visit for any future trip to Paris!

8.5/10Small, intimate place down a side street by the river. Menu not too long but variety and quality of food very good. Staff spoke English and recommended reasonably priced wine. No complaints at all.
