6/10I had the highest hopes for this place. For my wife’s birthday I booked a 2200 reservation. When we arrived we were promptly seated. To be frank, the service seemed, disjointed. To describe it best. We were greeted after ~8 minutes and our server brought us water, but forgot to take our beverage order. We noticed the couple next to us whom was seated at the same time, waited about 10-12 minutes to be greeted. Our initial server appeared to be “in the weeds” during our dining experience we had probably 4 different servers which made it confusing to know who was our primary wait staff. As another example, the music playing in the dining room began skipping, basically playing 2-3x normal speed and it was quite obvious, however, it continued for 8-10 minutes before it was actually reset. The food was not bad, but, it left something by to be desired, especially for the price point Ciel charges. My salad and desert were OK, with the highlight being the veal main dish. Nothing seemed elevated to the standard found essentially everywhere else in Paris. Unfortunately, the ambiance was just as mediocre as the rest of our experience. While I must admit the view of the Eiffel and the height of the building makes an amazing view, it’s tragically stifled by bright overhead LED lighting at tables away from the window. If you are able to get a window-side table. (In which the staff was very accommodating and kindly moved us to a window table after the previous patrons left. Big kudos to the staff for fitting us in!) Many of the tables have their view of the Eiffel obstructed by a 10 cm wide metal bar right at eye level. All in all, the experience was a bit deflating. We had high expectations and at every turn Ciel fell short of the experience it should be providing their patrons for the price point they charge. I personally will not be back, there are simply too many other good restaurants in Paris without the charade of fine dining.

8/10Back of the house was super. Food was excellent, tasty and well presented. Front of the house staff was poor. It appeared the wait staff self-imploded and could not provide a timely check. Such a spectacular venue deserves better execution of the customer experience.

8/10We loved the restaurant's quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The view was outstanding and the food was delicious, making it one of our favourite places to visit again. There was one disappointment, however. We saw one of the staff members pick up a loaf of bread off the floor and put it back in the basket. It was a little disappointing to think that our bread might have been one of those that fell on the floor.

6/10Sad to say that was disappointed with this restaurant. The food and service was below my expectoations. The entry to the restaurant starts with a maze of figuring out what door entry is needed to get in followed by airport style security, so plenty of time is needed to get there on time. The experience didn't set a good impression at the start, particularly as the building is very dated and a little uncared for at the lift lobby. The restaurant also has some evidence of wear and tear in the main areas and at the table. The food was mediocre for French standards and the server felt rushed and lacked a personal touch when serving us. The view however was fantastic which is likely what the diners are paying for. I wouldn't recommend this place to friends if they are foodies. If they want to see the view, l'd suggest going to the observation deck/rooftop access and then dinner elsewhere

10/10We had an amazing dinner at Le Ciel de Paris to close out our week long vacation. We made a reservation in advance and chose the menu Grand Ecran in order to be guaranteed a window seat. Even though it was a pricey choice for four people, the view, service, quality, and quantity of food was well worth the price. We had the sea bass, rump of veal, and pork chops - all were beautifully presented, cooked appropriately, and delicious. The rump of veal was voted our table favorite. We were all full after the starters and main course, but we saw another waiter go by with dessert and just had to try it. Boy, are we glad we did! Some of us had the chocolate dessert and other had the dessert sampler. We'd highly recommend the chocolate dessert! We took what we couldn't eat home and finished it the next day. All of us will remember this meal for many years to come. Between the food, service, and views of the Eiffel Tower and Paris at night, you can't beat it. This was by far our best meal in Europe! We highly recommend a dinner at Le Ciel de Paris, you won't be disappointed.

8/10Food and service good! But be careful with their elevator!!!! So dangerous almost fell and then it was crazy going up and down floor 56 to floor 0 super fast without opening the door at any moment. We had to ask for help but it seemed that happened really often none of the workers were surprised. They opened the elevator doors for us and send us to a “newer” elevator.

6/10The view from the restaurant is amazing, but that’s about it. We went to breakfast and the food was nothing exceptional or tasty. How do you mess up breakfast you ask? Easy they added cream to the scramble eggs, burnt the bacon, and served cold hot chocolate. Seriously if you go just ask for the continental breakfast and enjoy the view

4/10The view of Eiffel Tower was beautiful. Food not good at all, needs lots of improvement, very bland and not appetizing. Service was good when the waitress actually made it to our table but needs some improvement on timeliness… we had all night and were not in a rush but we were there bout 2 1/2 hours or so waiting in between our appetizer, entree, and dessert… wine was great but did not make up for food.

6/10The experience was not bad. Started with the guy at entrance, in charge of assigning seats, who not friendly. Subsequently, the servers were OK. The guy from Congo was super nice and the guy from the Philippines was OK too. Others weren't great. The ambience was just OK. Provision should be made for kids chair at least. The food was quite nice.

6.5/10The staff and service here is amazing, and the setting is also beautiful. The food was only okay. I came here with three friends and we each had three courses and all found the food to be tepid or cold, when it wasn't supposed to be, especially the duck. The food seemed more like it was assembled or reheated in the restaurant rather than being cooked freshly there, and while the flavours were nice it was off putting that it was cold. We came here as it was a novelty and a beautiful setting while we were visiting Paris, but I wouldn't return.

5.5/10We were excited to dine here for our Honeymoon and last night in Paris. Unfortunately, the experience was completely different from what we anticipated. First the positives: 1) The view of the city and Eiffel Tower: exquisite 2) The manager saved our server multiple times 3) They respectfully reseated us upon our request (to obtain a better view of the city) 4) Wine pairing with soup was excellent Next, the negatives: 1) Our server was very delayed in taking any of our orders. The server attended to an adjacent table seated 10 minutes after us and took their order, brought them their drinks and first course before she asked us for any of our drink or food orders. 2) We were accidentally served our main dish / dinner plate before appetizer. They had to take it back, bring out our appetizer, then brought back our main dishes (which I suspect was the same dish) 3) Lobster soup lacked flavor, only had 3-4 tiny morsels of lobster. Their soup paled in comparison to the lobster bisque at Cooper Hawk Esquire’s lobster bisque. 4) Overcooked the meat: requested medium rare, given medium/medium well (see photo). I would recommended visiting other restaurants here or simply going for drinks and the view.

2/10The waiter does not know how to handle tables. He did not recognize who came earlier or what. The restaurant was not busy at all but the man should be more organized. Also, the cup was not clean at all. We ordered tea with breakfast and the cup was covered by cappuccino powder which is apparently not washed from previous table for sure.

10/10First time visiting Paris from Texas and this restaurant was recommended to us. We were seated next to the window which gave us a perfect view once the eiffel tower started to sparkle. The staff were attentive, food was good (not great) but good. It was the ambiance for us. Would I recommend it of course.

10/10The place looks incredible with the best view of Paris and the eifell tower. For a person wanting a fancy evening this had an option for a reasonably priced set menu which is still brilliant for the cost. €79 for 3 courses in a very fancy Paris restaurant was worth it. Best thing I’ve ever done booking this place it tops any tourist food attraction or cruise option. Definitely go for the set menu and treat yourself! Stunning.

10/10We are celebrating our 5 year anniversary. My husband had a beer and the 2 course menu: the entree and main. I had the 3 courses: with entree, main and dessert. We both enjoyed the smoked trout and cheese entree. I had the duck with sweet potatoes and my husband had the salmon. We shared the dessert. The weather was overcast. Thus the view was misty. We highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food, attentive service and a great view of Paris including the Eiffel Tower. Be sure to have a reservation in advance. The first day we arrived without a reservation only to realize there were no openings. We looked online for the remainder of our vacation, 4 days, and took the only time, 2 pm, available. Only one availability in 4 days. Wonderful!

8.5/10Food was absolutely great. Service was ok, we arrived a the end of the afternoon shift and service was a little rushed. Not too bad but “kitchen closes in 2 minutes order now”. The view was absolutely a must if you are visiting Paris.

8/10Beautiful view! The weather wasn't corroborating however you can see the entire city. Great way to start the day. We went for breakfast which was cheap and came with a million dollar view. Not the best meal but definitely filling. Comes with a juice and a coffee/yogurt choice/ bread and main meal. After our meal we went on the tower tour. Great outing for family and little kids.

6/10We made a reservation for 1:30, but the museum was closed so we were able to eat even though we went at 12:30. The welcome cookie was a little salty and the bread before the meal was so-so. The appetizer soup and the main dish were delicious. Overall, it was good value for money.
