Such a shame that a restaurant with a privileged outlook in Paris is so neglected and tired. Dirty floors, dirty bathrooms, and worn out everything. Service was initially good and then we were forgotten for the sake of large group of tourist who came well after us and left well before us. Food was average to good. Extremely small mullet filet and disappointing entres. Dessert was fine. View was beautiful. Will not go back.

We were disappointed with our recent visit. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold, and while the ceiling was lovely, the rest of the interior appeared worn and poorly maintained. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to its price, and we were served dirty cutlery and stained plates, which affected the overall experience. We hope this feedback is helpful for future improvements.

I had reserved a table in advance, but upon arrival, I was seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant. I noticed that several window tables were clearly available and politely asked if I could be moved. Unfortunately, the waiter declined without even checking whether those tables were reserved. What made the experience even more frustrating was that the window seats remained empty throughout my entire visit. The lack of effort and unwillingness to accommodate a simple request reflected very poor service. As for the food—it was quite basic and not as refined or memorable as one might expect from a place with such a reputation. The only real highlight was the view. For those planning to visit, especially for the experience, be well prepared: don’t expect much from the food or service, and make sure to manage your expectations accordingly.

The view was amazing and we really enjoyed that aspect of our breakfast. The food was average, warm but not hot. Service was average although the person who greeted us was lovely and very accommodating.

Nice view - but the place needs to be remodeled and refreshed. Really needs a makeover. Food is just “ok” too but you don’t go there for the food you go for the view. My food came out cold and another not cooked. They did comp us a bit for mine- but for the price I still payed not worth it. Ruined the meal.

Dinner visit; views stunning. Food excellent. Service disorganised. Waited more than 15 mins to pay. Atmosphere chaotic: people almost tumbling on top of each other. Toulets absolutely disgusting: only one functioning toilet for hundreds of people. No signs indicating’”out of order”. Crowds near lift an absolute shambles.

Was around 1981 first time at Le Ciel de Paris, than 2011 twice and now 2025. There are a little bit to much exotic tourists there which reduces a little bit the pleasure at this fantastic place. Kind regards, W. Höffler

Matt our server went above and beyond…almost like he knew the food was subpar. This place needs a complete renovation, the chairs are falling apart, ripped and battered looking, the carpets stained and the overall ambiance was dim. The only thing this place has going for it is the view..come for drinks and eat elsewhere
