Best chef in Paris. Always the best meal of the trip. Unbelievably good service and ambiance, too.

Everything: excellent food and excellent service. Stunning. I dont have any comment whatsoever, but if I have to make one: the wine is a bit pricy! If you can go there, go! Unforgettable wonderful experience!🙏🙏

Outstanding. The menu was thoughtful and cohesive and conveyed the feeling intended by the chef while using top quality products and wonderful creativity. It was our last evening in Paris for this trip and was the perfect way to close out a fabulous trip with a top level experience

It was the third time we visited Le Gabriel but the first time as a three Michelin stars restaurant. I must say Chef Jérôme Banctel set another level of excellence. Vine matches the extensive menu in perfect harmony. Looking forward to next opportunity to visit Paris and Le Gabriel.

Food was awful. Blended, no flavor. Everything seems like a forced mix. Service was good but food was 0/10

We enjoyed the experience thoroughly. The service were friendly with a touch of humor. It was accessible to those who wanted to try Michelin 3 stars…More importantly, we can feel the chef’s passion to gastronomy and his hometown Bretagne. We appreciate that very much!

As Michelin 3 stars restaurant, I wonder if the service guy has no smile for the whole meal secession can be rated as poor and below 3 score. The guy for our table has no smile for the whole lunch at all and only talk “politely”. Food is good and considered according to our personal preference. The environment is OK.

    1. The server doesn’t know how to serve people, for example, the server doesn’t even finish the course description before they walk away. Also the attitude is bad which means the restaurant is lack of appropriate service training. 2. Printer doesn’t work and there is no backup printer, customers have to wait for a long time for the bill. the server also mentioned that they had no idea how long the customer had to wait before the machine got fixed. In all, a Michelin restaurant ought not stay behind its name and continues to operate like this.

all main dishes are salty, I don’t know why it’s 3 star Michelin, 300 euro per person, not really worth it

We had never been to a three star Michelin restaurant and were concerned that it would not be an experience that we thought worth the money. However could not be more wrong , I highly highly highly recommend enjoying a tremendous experience and meal like the one we had at Le Gabriel

Our dinner at Le Gabriel exceeded my (high) expectations. The set menu we selected, Periple, combined great creativity with flawless execution to create a truly memorable dining experience.

The service and food is phenomenal. By far one of the best French restaurants in the entire country. This restaurant’s taste, presentation and staff are the true meaning of a 3 star Michelin restaurant.

Amazing experience! The menu was incredibly refined and delicious, the service was impeccable, the ambience beautiful. One of the best culinary experiences I've had in the past years. Third Michelin star well deserved!

Food was too complex. Tastes were too strong and too sour. Service was perfect. Wine prices are relatively high.

Best dining experience of my life. From the monument we walked in I knew this was going to be different and it was. The place was amazing from the decor to the layout of the tables all were in place to enhance the dinning experience. We had a lunch reservation and found out that the dinner tasting is also available during lunch. We opted for the lunch tasting secret menu. The chefs use of limestone for marinating is very unique. The stuffed carrot was one of it not the best thing I have ever ate. The sauce with a hint of ginger gave it that little tang that made the dish for me. All the food was incredible, but the best thing for me was the service and attention to detail. We had no less than 6 people looking over us at any given time. They were all very knowable about the food, and would answer any question we had. The sommelier when above and beyond his suggestion enhanced each dish, and his knowledge was very in-depth.

Worth every Michelin star. Each dish was inspired, The balance of flavours of each dish was perfect, then each was served by an expert, knowledgeable and friendly staff in a cosy elegant dining room. 3 Michelin stars are not far off for this wonderful experience. We will return ! Thanks to all who made our night magical.

Everything you expect from a 2 macarons Michelin restaurant. All is in the details We had a marvelous experience

In a word, it's faultless. Not quite sure how or why the 3rd star has eluded them, but it's as good as its many nearby neighbours who do own trois etoile, and - as a result - quite a bit cheaper (which is not to say it isn't an 'investment' experience, but you get what you pay for). Go now, before it does get elevated, or simply just go. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent service and food quality! We tried the lunch menu and it was full of surprises! It was more than 5/6 courses and I couldn’t even finish the dessert at the end. Highly recommended restaurant, love it!

We had the signature 7-course dinner - a great experience. The first signature vegetable dishes (carrots and artichokes) are surprisingly good. And the langouste and the turbot are the best.

I have been blessed with having been to @ 20 Michelin 2 & 3 starred restaurants in Paris over a 2 decade timeframe. None has food like Le Gabriel. The setting is lush and welcoming. The service is beyond reproach, the staff immediately make you realize they will do anything to make you experience an occasion exactly as you wish. The food, of course rhe food, each of the 6 or 7 times l have been provided at the time perhaps the best meal of my life and the 18th of April, 2023 was no exception. Familiar life-altering preps combined with new recipes made my wife and l moan repeatedly. I sincerely hope l can go again on my next trip to Paris. Merci Le Gabriel

The decor is totally plush, subdued and calming. The beautiful food presentation was only equaled by the flavors. The service was really attentive to details and the food was presented with detailed description and at a proper tempo. The staff was very welcoming friendly but slightly on the young side, as in lacking a tad of experience for handling delicate situation. The sommelier was right on with the pairing selections. Overall a fabulous lunch to be repeated for sure.

Dear Madame, We would like to thank you for your kind words regarding your experience with us. It’s truly an honor to be described so fondly. We hope to welcome you back soon and make you discover our new menus. Sincerely Gabriel’s team.

The Gabriel restaurant in the Hotel La Réserve is in a sumptuously decorated room. The wait staff is numerous, attentive, highly skilled and totally competent in English. The menus also are available in English. If someone is looking to dine and receive guests in upscale surroundings and table service, this is the place. No à la carte menu. Instead, four prix fixe menus are proposed of seven courses each, but these dishes are supplemented by several "amuses bouches" before and several more "après dessert" later. On the food side, I confess that it was not to my palate. The very talented chef is obviously influenced by Oriental cooking, and he has the stated mission to combine land and sea. But the result is that virtually every dish is quite salty, and in several cases with a spicey bite. We opted for wine by the glass; happily so, as the dishes were simply not wine kindly. Every dish was accompanied by a sauce brewed from exotic ingredients. In my own view, they became the dish rather than enhancing the fish or meat presented. The foregoing critique does not include the deserts or the side dishes, which were universally tasty and executed with brilliance.

Excellent service and quality dishes apart from 1 dish...pork with ravioli being far too salty. Wide selection of wines
