One of the best meals we've ever had. We did the 7 course blind tasting but I feel like we got at least 10 courses. The food was absolutely incredible. The service was top-notch. It was not inexpensive but if you're looking for a world-class culinary experience, you won't be disappointed. By contrast, we went to another Michelin starred restaurant in the area the following night, and there was absolutely no comparison.

The service was superb and the food excellent. Particularly outstanding were an absurdly refreshing all-tomato dish to start and a fine piece of cod with a sauce that included hints of strawberry…so summer! The staff were wonderful, speaking French to me even though I struggle (I asked them to do it so I could practice). It was a very fine evening. Only two complaints to keep “ambience” at four stars: (1) start the AC before you open—it seems they wait till the place begins to fill, which can make diners in the first hour feel discriminated against; (2) do NOT ask for a tip—this horrible practice is creeping across the continent to no one’s benefit—if you ask for a tip where it’s not de rigueur to leave one, it’s just gauche.

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. No grumpy faces on the staff. We got the table placement we had asked for. The food and wine pairings exceeded our expectations. The staff spoke good English. The chef is a magician!

We went for lunch and with 2 young kids (1 and 3 year olds).. against all odds it was such an incredible experience. The food was just incredible and the staff made our experience even more enjoyable, even took the girls to the kitchen to meet the chefs :) they loved it. The restaurant has a fairly priced kids menu at 28 euro which my daughters loved (they had cod and mash potatoes and green beans as a main and then sorbet). Highly recommend!

We expected an over-the-top experience and we paid for one, but it fell a bit short on all counts: Ambience was lovely but dated, Service was professional and timely, but not friendly. Food prep and presentation were perfect, but menu choice of two similar fish dishes served consecutively was odd. Dessert fell short. Most annoyed by a table near us of a loud American sharing embarrassing personal information with the whole room. Then I noticed that virtually every table was American tourists.

This is a beautiful, elegant restaurant with an outstanding chef’s menu and extremely attentive staff. Absolutely lives up to its Michelin standing. Highly recommend! Truly one of the best meals we’ve had in our lives.

We had a wonderful experience at Le Millenaire. We chose the 5 course option and every one of those courses was unique and delicious. They catered well for our dietary needs within the 5 courses. Great wine selection and friendly, helpful staff.

The food was flawless and delicious. The service was robotic and impersonal. It let the whole experience, of such a fine chef's talent, down . The dining room is chic but almost too sparse and cold. Both ambiance and staff would keep me returning.
