This was honestly my worst Michelin experience. They never asked if I wanted a drink to start. Then when they asked me about my water preference I said sparkling n they served me S. Pellegrino which I personally don’t like. When I look around the tables they all had a different French sparkling water. I asked one of the server n he’s response was “of course we have many choices”. Well they never gave them to me. I asked for the 5 course tasting menu with the wine pairing and all the time my food arrived and there was no wine. The food was tasteless and to be honest, I can eat a better octopus in any of the Greek islands. The meat was chewy and dry and the dessert was just simply awful n tasteless. I mentioned I wanted to go outside to smoke a cigarette, they waked me there but there was no where to seat bse of the rain. They never brought anything from my table to the lounge area where I decided to move taken their lack of consideration. This shouldn’t be a Michelin rated restaurant!

Great place for a special occassion or when you want to treat yourself with great food and wines. Le Montrachet does not offer a wine pairing but the Sommelier was very helpful with suggesting wines by the class for the courses. And there is a great selection of wines by the glass.

The revisions to the interior of the restaurant are absolutely horrible. I have no idea of what the management wanted to achieve with the facility make over but it is a disaster!!! Really detracts from excellent service and food provided.

This restaurant (and hotel) is under new ownership as from this season and it's going to be a great success. In an area not short of outstanding wines and restaurants there's going to be another Michelin star (or maybe two) heading this way very soon. Everything is faultless, tasting menu well balanced with perfectly executed and presented dishes using plenty of local produce. Wine list features the best of the best and pays homage to its base in Puligny Montrachet by having more than 50 of these wines alone to choose from. A star in the making in more ways than one so book here whilst the prices are still reasonable and you won't be disappointed - it's just as good as many 2 Michelin star restuarants I've dined in.

We have been going to Le Montrachet Resturant for several years. We were excited to visit our favorite restaurant in burgundy again this year. When we discovered it was under new ownership we assumed the the quality would be similar to our previous meals so we made a reservation. The food was good and the service was excellent. But the food was just good and not superb like previously. While it was creative and the presentation was excellent there was nothing memorable. We have many restaurants in burgundy that always excite us. Unfortunately Le Montrachet has fallen on our list of favorites. Also worth mentioning the restaurant has been totally remodeled. And while it is quite fashionable we miss the old world elegance of the previous restaurant.

We felt so lucky to get this last minute reservation. We both chose the fixed menu for lunch (35€) and it was amazing. I had salmon carpaccio which came decorated with tiny tomatoes, green onions , flowers and pomegranate seeds. Main was a pollack with a potato base and a citrus cream sauce. Dessert was raspberry sorbet with tiny tiny meuranges and something as light as air that melted in my mouth. Can’t even describe it! We both had 2 different glasses of wine from the region. Fantastic. Loved it.

A special restaurant to celebrate our son’s 14th birthday. The lunch menu is very reasonable and the food is delicious. Beautifully presented with lovely, delicate flavours. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing time, eating on the terrace.

Consistently excellent dishes from amuse through cheese and dessert. Very good wine pairings for the price fixe menu, using wines by the glass as recommended by the sommelier. Lovely setting in the quiet town of Puligny-Montrachet, with professional service and an open, airy environment. Top marks.
