Great to see beautifully executed food and service especially with difficult dietary requirements. We were thrilled to see standard remain the same during our several years absence.

This was honestly my worst Michelin experience. They never asked if I wanted a drink to start. Then when they asked me about my water preference I said sparkling n they served me S. Pellegrino which I personally don’t like. When I look around the tables they all had a different French sparkling water. I asked one of the server n he’s response was “of course we have many choices”. Well they never gave them to me. I asked for the 5 course tasting menu with the wine pairing and all the time my food arrived and there was no wine. The food was tasteless and to be honest, I can eat a better octopus in any of the Greek islands. The meat was chewy and dry and the dessert was just simply awful n tasteless. I mentioned I wanted to go outside to smoke a cigarette, they waked me there but there was no where to seat bse of the rain. They never brought anything from my table to the lounge area where I decided to move taken their lack of consideration. This shouldn’t be a Michelin rated restaurant!

It seems there’s been a small misunderstanding as our establishment is not a Michelin starred restaurant (not yet, at least! ). We always come here when we’re in Burgundy and it never disappoints. Absolutely fantastic food and service.

Great place for a special occassion or when you want to treat yourself with great food and wines. Le Montrachet does not offer a wine pairing but the Sommelier was very helpful with suggesting wines by the class for the courses. And there is a great selection of wines by the glass.

The revisions to the interior of the restaurant are absolutely horrible. I have no idea of what the management wanted to achieve with the facility make over but it is a disaster!!! Really detracts from excellent service and food provided.

We had a great experience in the restaurant, excellent and special distinguishing food. Our farewell was very disappointing, being quite rudely treated by the receptionist of the hotel.

This restaurant (and hotel) is under new ownership as from this season and it's going to be a great success. In an area not short of outstanding wines and restaurants there's going to be another Michelin star (or maybe two) heading this way very soon. Everything is faultless, tasting menu well balanced with perfectly executed and presented dishes using plenty of local produce. Wine list features the best of the best and pays homage to its base in Puligny Montrachet by having more than 50 of these wines alone to choose from. A star in the making in more ways than one so book here whilst the prices are still reasonable and you won't be disappointed - it's just as good as many 2 Michelin star restuarants I've dined in.
