3/10We walked out after 45 mins without even a glass of water! We waited 15 mins for anyone to come over with a menu! Another 30 mins past and our wine hadn’t arrived so we walked out! If ur not a resident of the hotel they don’t want to know!

3.5/10Service was beyond slow. 20+ minute wait for a bottle of wine. The food still hadnt arrived after an hour and when asked where it was they just brought more bread… when it eventually did arrive half of the meals were cold! Their excuse being that the kitchen is on the ground floor and food needs bringing up in the lift. Nice views but don’t waste your money

10/10The food and drinks were quite good, the staff was friendly and helpful. The view is absolutely amazing! I can only recommend the restaurant for a nice and relaxing dinner.

8/10We were given a great table with the view of the city and the sea. The service was good and very professional. There was a full house towards the end of the evening so service got a bit slowers, but that's understandable. Overall, a great find for a special occasion!

9.5/10I was there for lunch on a Wednesday, on a hot July day. The roof top is very enjoyable with a superb view panoramic of Nice. The staff was very friendly. The food was fresh, tasty and colourful. I live in Nice and never thought of going there. I will go back ! ;-)

5/10The concept behind the moon bar is great, however it is poorly executed. The tables are crammed together (waiters struggle to pass them), the menu is limited and the food itself is bland and unfortunately not a culinary experience.. The live singer had a beautiful voice but the music was way too loud. Some of the staff is very nice. Unfortunately, the only thing we enjoyed was the view. Would not recommend.

7/10Atmosphere was wonderful. Menu was a bit to be desired. Same food at other restaurants no difference. Servers were very nice, but could be a bit dressed. Amazing views...

7/10Welcome with pressure to order at 1.25... which doesn’t make guests feel at ease for lunch...friendliness improves afterwards. Good is correct but the location is great with breathtaking views in the old town and mountains and sea.

10/10Last day of our holiday in Nice and the Moon Bar was the perfect place to enjoy lunch with an amazing view of Nice. Great table with fantastic views of Nice. Only a few tables so would book ahead. Small menu with tasty food. Service was good too. On roof terrace of hotel by small pool area so very quiet.

9/10Perched on the roof of the Aston Hotel this is a wonderful venue for a meal and for seeing Nice 'differently'. The views are fabulous across the city and beyond. We were here for lunch, were welcomed warmly and had a table overlooking the 'coulée verte' which is just what I hoped for. The menu is small but varied and when the food arrived it was well presented and looked very appetising. I ordered fish, my husband had a burger, both were perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. There was a generous portion of bread too. An enjoyable meal. The roof area comprises a swimming pool, sunbathing area plus restaurant area. A plus for me is that unlike many of Nice's beach cafes, the layout does not mean having to contend with people dripping from the pool or wearing very little wandering past your table while you are eating.
