10/10From the very first greeting as we entered the restaurant until when we left, our experience was wonderful. The food and wines were simply superb, and the service equally so. We arrived quite early in the evening, and as the restaurant filled the ambience warmed up and filled the room. It was clear that everybody else was having just as good as experience as we were.

10/10What a great Paris experience. The service was informative and passionate. Wine recommendations were perfect. Food was beautifully described and delivered stacked, unique flavours. 9/10The three dishes we chose were outstanding, creative combinations of flavors and textures and perfect cooking of each. Three sides were complementary, and the frites and leek-cabbage slaw were delicious. The carrot purée had a strange “off” taste; perhaps a spice we’re unfamiliar with? The personal interaction with our host conveyed their passion for great food.

Service started out differently with the waiter asking somewhat obscure questions to try to understand your wine/food choices. Attentive and pleasant enough but felt odd. Food was clearly intended to be unique. The entrees were actually simple. (Parsnip soup was unfortunately lukewarm.) The mains were tasty enough but not to the price point of the menu. I apologize I don’t recall the French names for the dishes. We went using the Fork special so with the discount, the value almost works. Wine was overpriced. It was a pleasant experience overall but doubt we will hurry back.

7/10The Service was friendly and professional but clearly stressed due to lack of staff. The food wanted to be innovative in the interpretation of classic French dishes but it lacked flavor. The maincourse was cold very disappointing.

Alexis’ service and personality. Both waiters were terrific. The food was terrific and so tasty. They brought puréed carrots with my Sea bream. I think I would have enjoyed another glass of wine, but I am glad I didn’t because I had the baba au rum for dessert and he gave me as much rum as I wanted. Then later he asked if I enjoyed it and I jokingly asked if I could have more, even though I had finished the dessert. He surprised us both by bringing us each a small glass of rum on the house. Very lovely. Enjoyed it all.

The food was excellent. We had 2 starters: (I) the red cresson and Roquefort salad: fresh, tart and sweet with strawberries. (2) razor clams deliciously caramelised with a buttery sauce nicely balanced with olives and capers. The 3 of us shared a big slab of flank steak with a mustard/salt crust. The accompanying parsnip (we think) puree was delightful. Service was fantastic.

9/10We both ordered steaks (cooked to different temperatures) but both pieces were a bit tough in some sections. This was the only blemish, but a notable one, in an otherwise-excellent meal. Our starter was exquisite. The wine recommended by staff was a wonderful choice. The service was among the best we have experienced and the ambience is delightful.

10/10The food was really delicious. We were 4 people and everyone loved their meal. The owner was extremely helpful explaining every dish on the menu - even though 3 out of 4 of us could read the menu - he wanted to explain the nuances of each dish. You could tell he takes pride in everything that he serves. We would definitely go again the next time we are in Paris.

10/10The outdoor seating was a pleasant surprise since the last time I was there in the winter. It was delicious and fresh! People in my group were not a fan of the pigeon but everything else was fabulous! Beet gazpacho, pork, lamb, etc!!

9/10The food was spectacular. I haven’t had lamb as tender in such a long time. All the mains were divine. The sides were great as well. And the choice of wines was impeccable. The only downer was at the end, when by putting all the chairs on the other tables, it was a sign that they wanted us to leave. It was 23:00 on a Friday evening, so it wasn’t too late. It would have been easier just to explain that they wanted to close… But apart from that, it was definitely a restaurant that I would revisit.
