10/10A great find in Geneva, we had a delicious time at this Bouchon Lyonnais! The food was really good, and there was a great atmosphere when we arrived. The staff were really nice and helpful, the head waiter in particular was very funny. Many thanks, we'll be back!

8.5/10The restaurant is very nice and very well located. The meals are well prepared and are delicious. I tried the ravioli in the starter and by far it was the best I have ever tasted. The service is friendly and polite.

8.5/10I really enjoy this place. They changed the tester item to start, this time it was lentils and smoked salmon. You need to enjoy the saltiness of the fish to enjoy this. Always a fine experience. The lamb shank admittedly did taste a bit less flavorful this time as compared to other times. Which is why it went from my typical 9.5/10 to 8.5/10 and the 50% off Fork deal did not put too much of a dent in the bill.

10/10It will be my third time this weekend to dine in Le Socrate when my sister and family arrives from the US to Geneva. I even brought a high-ranking diplomat and he also raved about this place and the steak that he ordered.

6.5/10Good location and the food were good. However they committed some mistakes like overbooking, so even if I booked in advance in The Fork, and they asked me to confirm the same day, when we got there (on time) we had to wait for between 20 or 30 minutes for a table. The food was considerably delayed, and we were already waiting before (and hungry). Then for dessert time, they committed a mistake and added vinegar instead of caramel to the dessert which of course ruined it. They acknowledged the mistake and replaced it. At the end, the dessert was included in the bill. They were not entitled to it, but it would have been a nice touch to get it from courtesy

7/10The bone marrow starter is a fave. We ordered 2 steaks (medium well) and some of the parts were uncooked. Very disappointing because it’s not our first time to go Le Socrate and everytime we go now there’s something that is not working well. I wonder if it’s because our reservation has a 50% discount….. On the brighter side, the « joue de boeuf » was amazing (as usual) and they actually give you the option of 2 service.

9.5/10I absolutely love the food and atmosphere here. It feels so local and quaint. The service is on its own timeframe, but certainly worth coming back. Might be worth metnioning ahead of time if you are in more of a hurry.

10/10We were there for lunch. Tartare is magnificent! They bring you a spoon of your tartare before so you could adjust the seasoning - I didn’t it was great from the start! The restaurant is excellent traditional French cuisine. Don’t come if you are on the diet;) my friends had escargots - with generous amount of butter. Other dishes - lamb, rognons de lapins. Everyone in the restaurant had wine even in the lunch time. It’s noisy and very vivid! Tables are set close. Waiters are cool!
