i booked through The Fork who had my card details on the night I paid the bill by cash but they also took payment by my card which is becoming very difficult to get back so just beware

Le Toquet was one of he highlights of our trip to Paris. We stayed relatively close to Gennevilliers and decided to eat there because it was the evening of the finals of Championship league and we did not want to go to the central areas. It was a very good decision for many reasons, but primarily because of the superb food quality and fantastic service. I would particularly want to outline the service, because you don't see that often. Street parking is free from 7pm in the surroundings of the restaurant. We arrived between 6 and 7 and were kind of worried to leave the car in the street. The staff of Le Toquet went above and beyond to help us park and when we didn't manage to find a street solution, they opened their private indoor garage and gave us a spot there. That was only the beginning - the waiters were super kind, the atmosphere is relaxed and when the food comes - you think you are in a Michelin restaurant, but with a home environment. Fantastic!

Food was of reasonable quality. Service was adequate. Did not realise when I did the booking that this was a halal restaurant. Wine was thus not available and it was disappointing because I always have my steak with a glass of wine.
