10/10I invited 14 friend to the train bleu because the food ,service is impeccable . This is the most beautiful restaurant in Paris! The ambience is outstanding's The staff cannot be any nicer! Going back SOON! NEXT TIME IN PARIS!

10/10A truly unique dining experience in Paris. The atmosphere was charming and authentic, capturing the essence of French elegance. The ‘Le Train Bleu’ menu was rich and flavorful, and I particularly enjoyed it paired with a glass of Bordeaux. The cheesecake was the perfect finishing touch. The service was impeccable – attentive and gracious from start to finish.

10/10Le Train Bleu is a wonderful restaurant in every respect except at times a little chaotic with arrivals for bookings. We arrived on time for our lunch but were sent to a side room for a drink and were forgotten about. When we finally chased up our booking the meal, service and ambience were wonderful. This place is so beautiful they can afford to make the occasional mistake.

6/10I ordered a 7 course tasting menu. It took 15 min to take our orders, amuse bouche came 15 min later. Then 30 min later, my first course. Then were forgotten for 30 min until I notified the waiter. The head waiter came and he was quite confused, it’s because our head waiter went to the different section. Another 15 min later my second course came. It took them 3 hours and 30 min to serve me the 7 course meal. It’s France who takes a time to serve each course, but somehow they forgot us for a long time. The restaurant was beautiful and so was ambiance. But really 3 1/2 hours? The head waiter was not apologetic at all.

9/10+3the decor, atmosphere, service were amazing. staff were friendly and happy. our server (Edward, i think) always had a big smile on. it was all very classy and old school. food was very good. the theatrical crepe suzette, the lamp carvery fitted with the ambience of old school classy restaurant. it was on the pricey side but well worth the experience.

10/10It’s actually the only reservation we’d made ahead of time, and it was lunch on our last day in Paris! I’d recently read a review by Oliver of the Earful Tower podcast, and just knew we’d love it. The entire Paris trip was a birthday (significant one!) and Le Train Bleu was a fitting grand finale. Good was fabulous. Service exceptional. And we were able to linger over a very lengthy lunch.

6/10We asked our waiter and attendant for water twice in different occasions and we were ignored. We paid our bill and end up buying water downstairs at one of the stores in the station. Our meal was okay, the food tasted good. I will not go back to this restaurant because of the service.

7/10Difficulty with our waiter who gave our table to a other waiter who did not speak English after we asked for another minute to look at the menu (I speak enough French to have overheard their conversation and he said “I don’t want to deal with the Americans” We asked for the soufflé at the beginning of the meal and it was not delivered. They insist you must order it in the beginning. They totally forgot and we had to ask for it. They then assured they would have it right out and we waited 5 minutes and miraculously a dessert that needed hours appears it was not worth the wait. The sea bass was reported to have no bones but was full of bones Scallops were very good Beef Tartare was good but not spectacular Meal took almost 4 hours The ambiance is why people come but I’ve had a better meal at a roadside cafe in the 15th when price and quality are factored in You should come for the ambiance but have low expectations

8.5/10The setting is sublime (something out of a movie) and the food was first-rate. The service was HORRIBLE! We were the first ones in the restaurant (having booked months earlier) but we seated in a corner next to a wait station. Despite the proximity, the waiter totally ignored us until, after some 20 minutes of waiting, I went to fetch the maitre d'hotel. Perhaps out of guilt our waiter tried to make up for his rude behavior by taking us on a tour of the kitchen (fascinating), but that did little to erase the unpleasantness of our initial experience. The food, however, was as good as the service was haughty and piir.

8/10Took my husband to Le Train Bleu for a special dinner. The setting is spectacular and the food was out of this world. The service however was a huge disappointment. We erected seated at 7:30 and waited to submit our drink order. 29 minutes later a nice server dropped off amuse bouche w/o explanation. We had to get up and ask for service to get our drinks. While to food was great, the service was totally incompetent and it lessened our experience. I live a n France so it wasn’t a case of a cultural miss, just bad service. Sad.

9.5/10Impeccable service matched perfectly with the amazing food! We are glad we booked a reservation in advance. The only downside, which probably can not be controlled properly, is the amount of strangers that use the backdrop in their insta/tock shoots. These are classless, as diners are trying to enjoy their meals. I wish they wouldn't do it during service.
