6.5/10Busy, cavernous restaurant serving passing travellers, locals and gourmets there for the experience. I'm one of the latter having journeyed to Paris for the sole purpose of eating in le Train Bleu. Service is immaculate but the food was underwhelming. I had the set, tasting menu at 120 euros and nothing on it stuck in my memory, sorry. The amuse bouche was fabulous, a carroty cream mouthful. Potato gnocchi with truffle was good but after that, something fishy and meaty - really nondescript.

8/10The food is excellent. While the price is high be aware that almost every dish is sized for two people. So, sharing is the point here and then the price is quite reasonable. Unfortunately, it appears the staff is stretched to the limit at popular times (e.g. lunch time). Consequently, service suffers during those times. Otherwise, the ambiance and the food quality are the high points here.

7/10Food was very tasty and delicious. Some of the wine glasses and plates here’re not clean (had food remains). Our table was not in great location despite reservation well in advance. Service was ok, but had to poor wine ourselves as the waiters were busy with other tables.

2.5/10Food was extremely subpar for the price and the reputation of the setting. The lamb was tasteless and dry, and the scallops raw. Service was terribly slow, and impolite at best. Really failed to live up to what it has boasted in terms of both. Adding to this are the unreasonable prices which are in no way deserved, based on the experience my party and I shared when we dined here. Will definitely not be returning.

10/10The chocolat chaud was brought out as separate milk and chocolate so that we could customize it to our preferences. My boyfriend said that the lamb was his favourite bite of the trip.

4.5/10food was not great, a lot was cold, amuse bouche was awful, we were also cold and the waiters were so slow, we had to flag someone down when we wanted anything. Don't waste your money.

8.5/10As expected. The design & decor or the restaurant is amazing. My wife enjoyed every minute just looking up at the ceiling admiring the artwork. The food was delicious. I would recommend this place to all my loved ones.

5/10Unfortunately- the Cheesecake Factory of Paris. Save your money - go somewhere else. They assumed I was American and were rude the moment they realized it. Would never recommend. Was prepared to spend a decent amount and left after a glass wine and to be fair - very good cheese.

10/105 friends had a wonderful meal together on Christmas Day. The staff were very busy but so polite and helpful and very professional. At the end our elderly friend fainted and was sick in the bathroom. The wonderful male bathroom attendant was so kind . The Pompiers were called and spent an hour with our friend and called an ambulance. All handled so well and quietly. Many thanks to all. We shall return.

10/10Le Train Bleu lives up to every single part of the hype you see from any given social media platform. The staff is great and can handle this high volume restaurant with ease. The amount of staff members we encountered were kind and sharp with their presentation. My recommendations are that when dining here, you share everything. The scallop dish is my favorite while accompanied with champagne and the beef tar tar is perfection with a solid bottle of Bordeaux. Many menu items are arranges table side and impeccable in their ingredient explanation as you see what the items are and agree to each before they are mixed in. Make your reservations early for this place and if you are arriving to Gare Lyon beforehand make sure you give a 45 minute timeframe as they do have a bar you can position yourself at while they prepare your table and a great valet service to check your hand baggage. Merci Beaucoup, Le Train Bleu! You did not disappoint at all! We shall be back!

Stunning from being greeted, seated, attention to detail by all servers whilst being waited on and of course, the food was absolutely exceptional. Overall a magnificent and classy experience. 10/10I celebrated my 70th Birthday at Le Train Bleu as I had dreamed it for years. It was the most wonderful culinary experience I've ever had. The food was incredible, the service excellent. Everything was over my expectations. I loved it!!!
