Service was great. The food was very good! The place is gorgeous. However it was very hot and stuffy in the place and they have no air conditioning in the place. I would not recommend to go in July or August.

6.5/10I had had dinner at Le Train Bleu last fall. The service and food then were excellent so my expectations were high. We were there for a late lunch and the staff seemed frazzled and very slow. No charm as before. It took forever to get a glass of wine. Lunch menu was limited. It’s a beautiful spot and I’d try it again For dinner next time in Paris. I hope it was just a bad day and not an indicator of the future of dining at Le Train Bleu.

8/10The place visually lives up to expectations, quite astounding. Service was terrific. Food was mediocre. The fries were virtually inedible, soggy not hot and dark.. probably pre-cooked batches and then they just scoop them out. One comes here for the ambience not for the food which is what we expected so we are OK with it and we’re glad we made the attempt to visit this historical restaurant.

My 10 year old granddaughter and I had a lovely lunch at Le Train Bleu. The food was exceptional, the service just too notch and off course the atmosphere so beautiful!!

3/10we have reserve for one nighta the train bleu 1 month ago for the wife anniversary we come from canada ,anad when we go to the restaurant ,we have place a call from the cab taxi for say we hare 10 min late ,,,,the guys a the phone said ,we are close because we dont have cook chef nothing just can serve alcool!! were very desapointed

We very much enjoyed the beauty and ambience of the restaurant. Our waiter seemed very preoccupied with other things and although it’s Paris and a leisurely lunch is expected, we couldn’t find him for our main course for quite some time.. everyone was very nice and we really enjoyed the experience.

8.5/10The decor & ambiance in the restaurant itself is amazing. It's unfortunate that everyone must now take photos of themselves 1st and foremost (to prove they've been there), but then they must take copious photos of the restaurant itself, even going so far as making a 'travel video' while they are present at a world-class restaurant. The decor, presentation of a world-class menu, and genuinely superior service should be the most important factor. It was for us! Our garçon was having a less-than perfect day, but he still managed to be attentive, engaging, and pleasant. If we ever travel through Le Gare de Lyon on a trip, we would certainly consider revisiting Le Trein Blue again.

4/10We arrived at 12:59hrs for a 13:00hrs lunch booking for four people only to be told that the kitchen staff had gone on strike! We were directed to the Bar area where we were told we could have a drink and a cheese board…..which we did. A glass of bubbles, two beers and a small glass of rose plus a small selection of cheese for which you charged E110…… the rose was E27 for a small glass which is an extraordinary price. All very disappointing after our journey from Australia…..good job that Le Moulin Rouge was exceptional.

10/10An amazing dining experience with all facets of a fine meal present. Great food. Service by an attentive staff who served with a smile & genuine concern for you approval. The ambience was impressive. Recommended with no reservations. But by all means make a reservation.
