For what is considered to be a “high-end restaurant”, the food was very disappointing. The food did not even come close to many fine restaurants around the world. The room was beautiful, that was its saving grace.

Stunning interior. Nice selection of cheeses with the cheese option on the menu. Salad my wife had was a good size but was spoiled by dozens of hazelnuts, almost like they spilled the jar into the dish and salad lacked dressing. My lamb dish whilst a good size was fatty and tough. Whilst you expect to pay a premium in a restaurant like this the prices truly were exorbitant. The service whilst attentive lacked warmth or friendliness.

What an amazing experience! We had a wonderful time. Celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary with a special weekend in Paris. This was on our list of "must do's" and it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere, the decor, the service, the food - all exceptional. Yes it was a large bill at the end - but so worth it. Food prepared by your table, nothing too much trouble and a sympathetic response when our French wasn't quite right!! We loved every minute and would thoroughly recommend a visit!

The restaurant design is magnificent. Totally a hidden gem inside the Gare. The service was excellent, very friendly. The dishes were mesmerizing, good portions, totally worth the price. We ordered foie gras, very delicious, the gam that comes with it was amazing. We ordered chicken with gnocchi was very good and Gigot d’agneau de nos regions roti(lamb leg) it was very good. Now le’t talk about baba bouchon, it is fresh they pour the rum on it in-front of you. Overall a wonderful experience, a must visit.

We were seated right away at our reservation time. Staff were dressed professionally. Everyone seemed to be busy doing whatever needed to be done. I think our waiters maybe new? There were two of them. I was confused with who was supposed to do what because they didn’t introduce themselves. We waited long time for one of them to come to take our order. I had to gesture one of the two guys to take our order. Then we waited for at least another 45 or so minutes with no food. In the meantime I noticed we didn’t have napkins. I called the gentleman who seemed to be in charge of the restaurant asking him where our order was. He said our order (veal) takes 45 minutes to be ready. I told him nobody told us and it was not noted on the menu. I would never order that dish had anyone mention about how long it would take. He apologized. We were looking forward to the lunch at this beautiful restaurant. But unfortunately our experience was not as what we expected.

Love it all. First time travelling Paris, and it was to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Le Train Bleu was my top priority during our trip. Even though I had problem making reservation, the manager solved it by response via email. When I visited the restaurant, the servers and tables were amazing. They were all polite and in good manner. The food was all visually good and tasty. Especially Mr. Hakim, who was serving food at my table, was so kind and so friendly. He was smiling at all times and it made us feel free to ask for something. Also, through our Paris tour, he was the only one we met who told us “Have a good afternoon”

An elegant setting for incredible food. The waitstaff was kind and helpful. I highly recommend ordering the lamb, as it is carved table, side and plated. One of the most delicious meals I have ever had.

On arrival, there were crowds of people at the reception desk. At first, it felt quite chaotic. I didn’t know whether they were people without a reservation. I had a reservation and was told I should wait. However, once I was shown to a table in this beautiful restaurant, all was well: the service, so French and professional; delicious food, a sublime room and, as I was alone, what a joy to watch the staff going about their work with such style.
