It could have been touristy. But instead it was beautiful, great food and very accommodating staff. My husband grew up in train stations in his childhood as he father was a chief architect for a major rail line in the US. We all loved our lunch. Merci

The restaurant is beautiful - and great for people wanting to take photos! However the food was disappointing and very expensive. The waiters were pleasant. I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s an amazing venue and so opulent. My daughter and I were treated like royalty. From the easy website booking to constant reminders the whole experience was fantastic. The menus are well thought out and varied and the staff superb.

The food was exceptional and such a fun environment with the flamboyaing of my meat and crepes Suzette ! Our servers were very personable and knowledgeable ! Of course the atmosphere was just lovely!

The food was fine enough, but we might have expected a bit more. We ordered “Le Menu PLM” twice at 78 euros each, and bought a bottle of wine and some water, so we probably weren’t the ones who ordered the most expensive items that evening. Still, we ended up paying around 230 euros +/- and we somewhat felt like we had been forgotten. The waiters were not very easy to get hold of, even though in our section there was a family who had already finished eating and two other couples. We arrived at 8:00 PM but didn’t leave until a little after 11:00 PM. The couple next to us had also arrived at 8:00 PM but left around 9:30 PM because they received their service as expected. The other couple arrived around 9:00 PM and ended up finishing at the same time as us, even though they had ordered the same menu as we did. The place was very beautiful, and it was an experience, but due to the service and the price we paid, I will probably choose somewhere else with better service next time.

Slow and erratic service. One entrée was good, the other médiocre at best.

Steak was super tough and the service was not as expected. Our waiter was too busy chatting with other tables and barely checked in on us at all. Didn't come to take our order until an hour in. The whole dinner took way too long as we were waiting for him Hal the time. Food was okay except for the steak which was really not done well and could barely even be cut.

It's excellent to have a meal in historical rocco style restaurant with nice food and service.

The ambiance, good service and delicious food, We had the sea bass and crepes flambee with Grand Marnier. Well worth a visit. Needs to be booked well in advance.

Very beautiful historical restaurant, but the food too expensive for it’s quality.

Everything about this restaurant was amazing. It feels very special from the moment you walk in. The hustle and bustle, the incredible talent of the waiters carrying the huge tray and the warm welcome from all the staff. This was a real bucket list item for me and it certainly didn’t disappoint. I had their famous roast lamb leg carved table side and Crepes Suzette cook at my table and not only excellent food but a joy to watch. I highly recommend a very special meal at Le Train Bleu on your next visit to Paris.

Very busy night but everything run smoothly. Good food and good drinks. the only down side was the waiting for everything. I would go for lunch next to experience it again but not for dinner.

We had a wonderful dinner at Le Train Bleu. The restaurant was so beautiful, service was friendly and attentive, & food was delicious. Husband ordered the rack of lamb and I had Chicken Cordon Bleu. The table side Crepe Suzette’s are a must! The plating and presentation throughout the evening were excellent. Wine cost was very reasonable. We wanted to experience the history, food, and ambiance ~ Le Train Bleu lived up to my dream! The sheer detail of the light fixtures, carved mahogany furniture, ceiling and wall paintings, and molding are amazing. We purchased a book for our coffee table as our momento. The restaurant’s history is truly remarkable. They have a gorgeous glass case of select items (wine glass or china with classic logo) to purchase similar to another famous coffee shop. It’s like stepping back in time of french glamour and tradition. Make the reservation, it will be a memorable experience.!

Food was very nice but the service at this price level could pay more attention.

The ambience is spectacular, the staff and their service is of the first class. A restaurant of the elite class reminiscent of the Belle Epoch. However, the food, my goodness it is terrible. Bland, low quality and simply not something befitting this location.
