Wonderful service , wonderful food! Worthy of their Michelin star. Guillame, our waiter, was just the best.

Perfect service

The welcome was pleasant and the staff attentive, and the food was genuinely enjoyed: the dishes were good and lived up to expectations. However, for a Michelin-starred restaurant, the setting did not match the level of standing one would expect. The tables were far too close together, making the dining room particularly noisy. It was even difficult to hear my friend sitting directly opposite me, which took away from the intimate atmosphere one usually looks for in this type of establishment. Another disappointing point: although the staff kindly took our coats upon arrival, they were then folded and placed just above our heads, which felt more reminiscent of a train than a fine dining restaurant. Overall, while the cuisine was appreciated, the comfort and overall atmosphere did not, in my opinion, reflect the standard expected from a Michelin-starred venue.

It was an amazing dinner! Love the foods and service was great! Will come back again!

Good food, great atmosphere, hectic service

+1First of all, the reservation was easy through Google The staff was nice, too! I ordered a single dish, but when I heard they were sharing, they brought me half and half and half, and I loved it! They took pictures first In terms of service, 👍 good However, the disadvantage is that the serving speed is different for each employee, and the dessert was a bit disappointing because I sprayed too much caramel before I said it, as a celebration of my mom's birthday I went there and found a short hair from a dish. I didn't say it was okay, but I still think I should leave a review! I was supposed to say it, but I'm actually upset because you stopped me It's not a small amount of money! If you come to eat beef steak and mille-feuille It's the most delicious and I recommend it!

Great service, classic French dishes prepared very well. Solid wine list and selection by glass

First class food and service, Cello menu offered good value otherwise prices looked very high. Atmosphere spoilt by very bright overhead lighting they need to tone down, regulars on next door table agreed and said it had changed recently.

I went with my husband and 15yr old. We liked it but it wasn’t anything extraordinary and the price is very high. The service was great!

+4Very goooooooooood!

Unique ingredients: veal and pigeon legs, and the finest foie gras
8.5
Overall a good French meal, worth trying but with room for optimisation. For example, the oxtail was overly flavoured with wine and the pasta was slightly pinched.

Violon d’Ingres is a reliable favorite, always at the top of our Paris restaurant list.

Attention to detail and overall the service that was provided, amazing food, truly a memorable experience.

We were in the restaurant this time for New Year’s Eve. There was a set menu that was magnificent. The service was efficient and friendly with the service team even joking with us throughout the evening. The restaurant has a modern sleek feel in design that is welcoming and comfortable. All in all it made for a memorable meal. Le Violon is one of my go-to restaurants in Paris.

Near the Eiffel Tower. The five-course wine pairing was excellent. The staff was delightful and professional. The setting was peaceful and chic. The patronage was mostly French. Highly recommended.

Great food well done, good but not perfect service. However, all diners at our table found the ambience challenging for one main reason, ie, we all found the lighting a bit ‘garish’ and too bright: could use an update with some tweaks possibly from a lighting engineer to make the dining room more comfortable.

+3Although the modern twist on classical concepts are interesting, execution of each dish can be improve. For example, the langoustine ingredient quality or the sea bass seasoning. We found the service to be sloppy and at some point, careless, as the waiter spilled water when refilling and put our utensils down by dropping it from an ungodly height. Overall, I felt rushed through the experience just so they can serve 2 batches, and will recommend to look elsewhere for a nice dinner.

Very nice food, traditional and modern. Elegant brasserie ambiance with warm service.

The beaf checks were excellent. The foie gras was generous but came without the melted fat. It was OK. The Mille feuille had only three layers instead of a dozen at least. No reasonable person would call that Mille feuille.

+3An unforgettable dinner.

Service was fantastic. Really great food, highlight was the pigeon wellington and mille-feuille, we weren’t crazy about the langoustine entree but overall felt it was a beautiful meal and a great experience.

Excellent service for a group that started at 9 and changed to eleven. Good wine service as well.

+1This is a gloriously fun and simultaneously sheik restaurant with that perfect Michelin Paris vibe. My wife and I will return on every trip to Paris. So sophisticated, but oh so comfortable. A grand, happy place with exquisite cuisine.

+4I had lunch with my friend there. The experience is excellent.

Every dish was delicious and the service was so welcoming. This was my second visit, i love their traditional French cuisine and they give you large portions unlike many Michelin starred restaurants. Excellent sommelier and wine pairing.

I enjoyed a wonderful 3 course meal with some of the most delicious foods. I highly recommend Le Violon d’Ingres!

Very good restaurant in rue Saint-Dominique not far from the Eiffel Tower. I had the six course Menu Degustation, and everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the tuna tartare and the beef filet with excellent mashed potatoes. It’s also fairly good value by Paris standards. Pleasant contemporary decor creates a relaxed ambiance. Very friendly, attentive and professional service. I give this restaurant my best recommendation.
