+1This restaurant felt like you were visiting family to have a great meal. It is a very unassuming place that has a very relaxed atmosphere. I believe that we were the only tourists dining there that night. The food was fantastic and the service was perfect. We ordered the langoustine starter and the steak with mushrooms main course. They were both excellent.

10/10We arrived late in Paris on a Tuesday evening with no reservations, we got a table booked through the fork app based on the reviews and proximity to our hotel. It was very quiet when we arrived and we enjoyed the setting of an old traditional building and a relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the food which was prepared to a very high standard using techniques you would expect with much more expensive ingredients and restaurants. It was also great that they were willing to alter the menu to suit allergens with my wife being a coeliac. The service was great and we felt welcomed and relaxed. The value for money was excellent and based on this alone I would definitely recommend a visit! We opted for the 5 course taster menu and being able to choose 3 courses from a larger list of the options available (similar to a tapas style) was great - we particularly enjoyed the white asparagus and the Haddock Croustillant!

7/10We came for New Year’s Eve. The food was delicious, well prepared and elegantly plated. The menu was elevated but not pretentious, and arrived in a timely manner. Our favorite courses were the steak which was tender and flavorful, the entree scallop ravioli with caviar, and the dessert course which was a wonderful hazelnut bombe. Unfortunately the experience was diminished by the poor service. Our server was very sweet but seemed inexperienced and overwhelmed. There was poor communication between the server and the sommelier and we never got any clarity regarding the wine pairing option. The water pitcher was dysfunctional and spilled everywhere (not the server’s fault). Overall we would give them another chance to see if the service improves given the quality of the food.

4/10The food was excellent, and the service was very kind. However, the coordination was disappointing, especially for an important occasion like New Year’s Eve. The entire dinner lasted over three hours, which significantly affected the overall experience. Guests with 9 PM reservations had to wait in long queues indoors to escape the freezing weather, creating a chaotic atmosphere. For the price charged, a smoother and more organized rhythm is expected. Unfortunately, it did not meet those expectations.

9.5/10Excellent food and service. Was impressed that all the desserts are "home-made"! Restaurants in the Oberkampf area tend to undestandably focus on the huge number of younger patrons who live in the area and are looking for inexpensive "bar/restaurants". It is great to find a restaurant that is more "upscale" and which serves excellent food in a quieter setting.

+2There are two menus available for €69 and €55 with a choice of savoury and sweet dishes. I had the tasting menu for €69 with an amuse bouche, 4 savoury dishes, cheese and a dessert along with a bottle of very nice Chardonnay for €28. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly.

8/10We had an absolutely delightful experience at the restaurant. The food was exceptional, offering a perfect blend of flavors and representing excellent value for money. The discovery menu was flawlessly crafted, and the staff went above and beyond to recommend an outstanding bottle of wine that was both delicious and reasonably priced. Regrettably, our evening was slightly overshadowed by an incident towards the end of our visit. We happened to witness a mouse scurrying across the restaurant, which left us feeling a bit unsettled. Upon inquiring about the issue, we were informed that the neighboring restaurant had been facing a rat problem, but it was unclear whether it had affected the establishment we were dining in. We sincerely hope that steps have been taken to address this concern since then, ensuring a pest-free environment for future patrons. Overall, despite this minor setback, our time at the restaurant was still highly enjoyable, and we remain optimistic that any issues have been promptly rectified.

10/10One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Great service. Beautiful food that tasted as good as it looked. We will definitely be back again. I particularly loved the combinations of meat and seafood such as the pork belly and mussels. The squid and aubergine ravioli was also a big hit. Great atmosphere combining vibrant but homely atmosphere

7/10Little restaurant with ambiance but needs care with details (roof painting with leak marks, lamps dirty, etc.). We chose the 7 course menu, got 3 of them and the 4th took 50 minutes. We asked after 30' if it was coming (waitress said 'yes, it's coming'), at 40' we complained and took another 10' to be served, and it was delicious - I don't know what it was because we were not told, waitress just dumped the plate. It was a bit late already (after 10pm when it's supposed to close), it was busy but not full more people got in and ordered so kitchen was definitely open. The 5th course come soon after we finished the 4th: a cheese plate that was on the bench waiting for us - we expected another main course instead, but the cheese were great. We got a desert as 6th, the only food that I didn't like at all. We were asked if we wanted coffee and we told the waitress that we had just gotten 6 courses of the 7-course meal. She said that would tell her manager, who later brought us the bill and we decided to just pay and leave, it was late and we had enough food, most very good, but not what we paid for on a 200€ bill. All in all great food but I will not come back. Hope this helps you making a choice amongst thousands of restaurants and bistrots in Paris.

10/10I had the 69 Euro surprise menu and my wife had the 49- Euro menu. Everything was really really good. The service started out as kind of slow because the restaurant was crowded and there was shortage of staff at the kitchen. The music was not too loud as is the trend in other places. My wife complained rightfully about the choice of beers: on the menu there is only one type of very bad beer. Despite these small problems I highly recommend this restaurant

10/10Les 3 Bornés was phenomenal! Each dish we had was unlike any we had eaten before. The staff was lovely, I have a nut allergy and told the waitress in my limited French and she immediately understood and told the chef. This is an intimate spot, definitely for locals, but don’t let that intimidate you! Highly recommend!!
