10/10Six of us were in the upstairs room, very quiet (with no music - excellent) set out like a classy bookshop or library. Service was excellent. Food was good, but two of our number who ordered sardines were surprised to be served ... a tin of sardines, good though these were.

10/10Our last night in Paris. Excellent choice of wines by the glass. Escargot were good as was the saddle of lamb. Attentive service and a pleasant evening

10/10We had a wonderful dinner here. We had looked forward to going to an iconic French restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the wait staff was outstanding!

8/10Salmon tatami, onion soup and asparagus veloute were outstanding. The duck dish about a B. Chicken piccata was so bad they finally comped us - which was nice. It was dry and had no sauce. Not at ALL a “chicken piccata”. Crème brûlée and chocolate dessert excellent. Service much slower than normal. Took us almost 2 1/2 hours to have dinner. Ambience always nice as are the comfy chairs.

10/10This restaurant was wonderful! We had a great time, the staff was very friendly and accommodating to English (+ an English menu). The ambiance was very lovely and serene, and the food was flavourful and beautiful

9/10For those looking for a convenient rendez-vous in a spacious, well situated space next to Metro Odeon, this is possibly the best among several restaurants in the immediate area. While a bit expensive, there is a good mix of standard French cuisine and a few good specials. Upstairs is particularly comfortable, much like a villa's library would be.

8.5/10Charming host, greeted warmly and seated immediately. Waiter a bit less interested. Had delicious calves liver perfectly prepared. For dessert a General, pear sorbet in pear William! Enjoyed.

6.5/10I love the Parisian atmosphere of this brewery, very nice service of our waitress. Unfortunately the kitchen is not what it was, I frequent this restaurant since the early 2000s, the card was that of a good brewery. Today I would like to know like this horrible cheesecakes what is not industrial.

7.5/10Service was excellent, but food uneven. My steak was too touch and thin--not much good meat on it. Pleasant surroundings and easy to have good conversation. Soft chocolate cake with almond ice cream--tasty but the chocolate was extremely rich and sweet--it would have been better to have more ice cream and less chocolate.

5.5/10Food was fine, except for the bread, which was the absolute worst that we have had in Paris since being here for 2 months. I think the bread must have been at least a week old. The waitresses were rude and surly. Shame on them.

9/10The starters (mushroom in puff pastry and duck foie gras) was really good and tasty. We were a little dissapointed with our main courses; the chicken breast special lacked flavour and the duck confit was not tender and also lacked flavour. They were not bad; just not as good as we expected. The tarte tatin was excellent especially with the caramel source (which our waiter was kind enough to bring us more of) and vanilla ice cream. The ambience and service was faultless.

10/10I had been here once before and it was good then. Last night proved just as good. The reception was warm and we were swept upstairs to our table. Service was attentive and prompt, exactly as it is supposed to be. The plat du jour were our choices and my steak was prepared perfectly with nice crisp frites. Wine selection also excellent.

7/10The place is very cramped. This is not the kind of restaurant for a quiet conversation or reading the papers. The food is not very original, but basically correct. The selection of items on the menu is limited. What is unique about Les Editeurs is the lining of shelves full of real books (in the US, they would be fake books ..). Makes it feel almost like a library.
