Incredibly attentive service partnered with exceptional food makes for a near perfect experience. Truly a memorable meal. I am so glad we are here. In a touristy location it is rare to find a true food experience. The service here was worthy of a Michelin star.

Classic, old-world elegance. Professional, helpful wait staff. Like stepping back in time, but in a good way. Have a cocktail at the hotel bar before dinner!

We had a really lovely evening here. The service was great: warm, attentive, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and everything was well paced from start to finish.

The restaurant and hotel is beautiful, we had to wait a little bit before we were welcomed. However once they had, the staff were warm and welcoming. We had the beef tartar to start, mains was cheek of veal and truffle pasta. All dishes were really well presented and good temperature. The truffle was shaved on to the pasta in front of you which was a lovely touch. Out table wasn't quite ready when we arrived, however we were seated in the Star bar & had a complimentary drink, which was really appreciated. Only disappointing things were having to pay for tap water at 10 CHF, and we were forgotten about with the bread to start when your seated.

Could only book a table at either 6:30pm or 8:30pm so chose the latter. Arrived to find the place virtually empty leaving us to wondering why we couldn’t have been offered an earlier table, which would have been our preference. We both ordered the burger and it was underwhelming. Barely warm, the fries were also like warm and no side salad, just 3 small jars of accompaniments. Waiter forgot the drinks order (1 beer) and why is water charged at 12 CFH for a country that boasts the best and safest tap water ever? All in all, overpriced and seriously underwhelming.

Good food, excellent service and great staff. Our waiter was Mykyta and he did an amazing job! Domenico also around checking everything. Sophisticated place to have dinner at Zermatt.

The excellent service was only outclassed by the incredible cuisine. Our dishes were so good, I was brought to tears--a rare occurrence. The porcini ravioli with truffle and blueberries was delicate and divine. The AlpenZander with creamed saurkraut and mountain cranberries was like tasting God.

The service was amazing from the moment we walked into to the hotel. We started with a cocktail in the bar before our reservation. The pianist was a nice touch. Our appetizers of foie gras and eggplant tartar were below our expectations. The schnitzel was amazing but the potatoes were bland. My favourite was the perch on a creamy sauerkraut. I love that you can order different sizes based on your appetite, but wished I had of ordered the larger portion.

The food and service was good, nice experience. Then the bill comes and they charged us 80 francs for water!!!! We asked them for tap water. That’s a lot of money for water!!!! Left a bad taste and ruined the experience.

Beautiful dining room, but atmosphere a bit ‘stuffy’. Team were not very welcoming at first as we didn’t fit with the very smartly dressed clientele in the restaurant - but warmed up and were friendly. Brasserie menu and food a bit out of kilter with the fine dining decor and atmosphere they seemed to be cultivating. Very pleasant meal but not up to the high standards of many other Zermatt options.

+1Wonderful service, delicious food and a gorgeous dining room! We felt welcomed and comfortable even though it was fancier than our typical dinner out. Highly recommended the red blend wine, the snails, the goat cheese salad and the wagyu cheeseburger.

We were in awe of the restaurant’s beauty. The service was excellent, they made us feel welcomed. They were skilled and professional and added to the ambiance of our dining experience. Some of the dishes left us very underwhelmed. Three of us ordered the Tort which was delicious but it wasn’t a traditional tort. The toppings are on a cracker like based pizza and overpriced. One of us ordered a steak which he described as being “ok”. The flavors were there with all of our food but this was definitely not our favorite dinner. We have had far better meals for less.

The service was excellent, the atmosphere is beautiful and the food was exceptional! Also, there is a lovely bar just inside that has great ambiance as well!

With a phenomenal view of the Matterhorn, the atmosphere was phenomenal. The lamb special was spectacular, but our other dishes were simply above average. Our group of four Americans was disappointed in the service. Our server barely spoke English and confused a quiche with a flatbread. Our food did not come out at the same time. In fact, the dishes came out of order. She never checked back with us after the food arrived, and my husband had to track our down to order more drinks. The poor service outweighed the atmosphere and food. So frustrating. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

With beautiful weather to accompany the evening, we had the most attentive service, the most delicious torts, a spectacular PERCH, although the rack of lamb next to us look devine. Yum! Could have stayed all night 😊

DISHES WERE DELICIOUS ! Sitting location was not ideal. Despite a lot of empty tables, I was put close by a screaming kid :( Service need some work as my waitress had difficulty explaining every dishes. She was so confused.

The staff were on top of it but the food I ordered came out wrong but it was good. Very nice place to have a nice dinner.
