6.5/10food is average, service is 3/5. The sommelier tried to make a fool of me, the waitress kept trying to speak English to us even though we kept insisting we were speaking Italian. Price-quality ratio 2/5.

10/10Real local Italian cooking using good quality ingredients, short interesting menu reflecting this rather than the usual endless list of dishes. Very thoughtful wine list and friendly and knowledgeable service.

A taste of Rome in Trieste. Really good Cacio e Pepe followed by Saltimbocca alla Romana, all very well-seasoned, delicious and authentic, washed down with Ribolla Gialla Frizzante (available by the glass). Lovely outside area with a buzzing atmosphere and an obvious favourite as it filled up quickly. Good, friendly service.

9.5/10spontaneous last friday i decided to take my husband and try this place for the first time (thanks to newsletter this app sends me regularly with recommendations!) everything was excellent. from decor, ambience, food and service. specially noteworthy are their house red wine, fried artichoke, lamb skewer and ribeye polish style are just exceptional! we live on the viale so rarely venture out to this corner of the city at night. but so glad we did tonight. and thanks to Fork app too. now we have another option for fine dining!

10/10We were greeted warmly to this very charming restaurant. Our host was extremely good with his food and wine recommendations and both he and wider staff were friendly. The food and service were excellent and we didn’t feel rushed. Overall the best experience we had in Trieste.
