An adorable little restaurant with great decor. Foid was delicious especially the schnitzel!! Yummy pavlova dessert!

Pleasant ambience. Artichoke:Small portion. Use a larger artichoke, or serve two Braised meatballs: just a typical meatball…in barbeque sauce! Waitress could have a warmer attitude, and asked how we liked the food before it was all eaten

We had a wonderful evening. Went there two nights in a row. Everything we ate was amazing from the Pasta to Meatballs. Nice people nice food, nothing left to say. We‘ll come again.

Booked late and got table at door which our host asked if we were happy to take. They didn't have a phone no to contact us. Food and service compensated for draught. Lovely evening and highly recommend.

After a few days, we returned to the restaurant for dinner, eager to relive the incredible experience and enjoy the delicious food once again. We were lucky to be served by the same waiter, Michele, who, in addition to his kindness and remarkable knowledge of wines, also demonstrated another impressive skill — expertly pouring Italian grappa. It’s probably a good thing we don’t live in Trieste, otherwise we would be here every single evening 🙂

Wonderful restaurant, exceptionally pleasant atmosphere, incredible service, a waiter with impressive knowledge of wines, and unforgettable food. We will definitely come back!

beautiful place good food but the only thing I was disappointed is they tell you. that can have a class of wine instead of bottle but they give you 2 fingers of wine in a glass and pay € 7 for each glass of wine that I don't like it

The waiter was incredibly attentive without being annoying, he also had great recommendations. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. The food and wine were great quality, for a decent price. I would definitely recommend going there!

Excellent location right in the city centre and very friendly staff. The food was decent, but quite far from authentic Roman cuisine. Some dishes were overly salty, yet the overall flavours felt surprisingly mild. I enjoyed my lunch, but it didn’t leave a strong enough impression for me to return.

The quality of the food was very disappointing. The pasta dish was way too salty. We were shocked that this restaurant gets good reviews. Only redeeming quality was the attentive and sweet wait staff. We feel that the reviews must have been made by tourists who don’t know good Italian food.

Food was good as was the wine. The service was surly at best from our waitress (cobra tattoo). Too bad as it spoiled an otherwise very pleasant evening, our only in Tieste.

We made reservations for a group of 15 - all English and/or French speaking. It is a small restaurant, yet they still accommodated us. The servers were excellent and very friendly - one of them spoke English and French and the other English, which we were very grateful for considering we are the ones visiting their home country of Italy. The food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed everything they ate. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend. Trieste is beautiful and this restaurant is excellent.

food is average, service is 3/5. The sommelier tried to make a fool of me, the waitress kept trying to speak English to us even though we kept insisting we were speaking Italian. Price-quality ratio 2/5.

Real local Italian cooking using good quality ingredients, short interesting menu reflecting this rather than the usual endless list of dishes. Very thoughtful wine list and friendly and knowledgeable service.

A taste of Rome in Trieste. Really good Cacio e Pepe followed by Saltimbocca alla Romana, all very well-seasoned, delicious and authentic, washed down with Ribolla Gialla Frizzante (available by the glass). Lovely outside area with a buzzing atmosphere and an obvious favourite as it filled up quickly. Good, friendly service.

spontaneous last friday i decided to take my husband and try this place for the first time (thanks to newsletter this app sends me regularly with recommendations!) everything was excellent. from decor, ambience, food and service. specially noteworthy are their house red wine, fried artichoke, lamb skewer and ribeye polish style are just exceptional! we live on the viale so rarely venture out to this corner of the city at night. but so glad we did tonight. and thanks to Fork app too. now we have another option for fine dining!

We were greeted warmly to this very charming restaurant. Our host was extremely good with his food and wine recommendations and both he and wider staff were friendly. The food and service were excellent and we didn’t feel rushed. Overall the best experience we had in Trieste.

It was my first time at Magna Bistro and I went there for lunch. I was very impressed by the interior decor, with the food and with the service. I highly recommend it and will go back.
