9.5/10The waiter was incredibly attentive without being annoying, he also had great recommendations. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. The food and wine were great quality, for a decent price. I would definitely recommend going there!

Excellent location right in the city centre and very friendly staff. The food was decent, but quite far from authentic Roman cuisine. Some dishes were overly salty, yet the overall flavours felt surprisingly mild. I enjoyed my lunch, but it didn’t leave a strong enough impression for me to return.

6.5/10We ordered a filetto and picanha. The filetto was perfect but the picanha was too tough to eat in most spots so a lot of it went to waste, even after telling the waitress. They explained that it's the type of meat but they didn't realize I eat picanha enough to know that's not the case. The filetto and the sides and appetizers were good.

4.5/10The quality of the food was very disappointing. The pasta dish was way too salty. We were shocked that this restaurant gets good reviews. Only redeeming quality was the attentive and sweet wait staff. We feel that the reviews must have been made by tourists who don’t know good Italian food.

7/10Food was good as was the wine. The service was surly at best from our waitress (cobra tattoo). Too bad as it spoiled an otherwise very pleasant evening, our only in Tieste.

10/10We made reservations for a group of 15 - all English and/or French speaking. It is a small restaurant, yet they still accommodated us. The servers were excellent and very friendly - one of them spoke English and French and the other English, which we were very grateful for considering we are the ones visiting their home country of Italy. The food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed everything they ate. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend. Trieste is beautiful and this restaurant is excellent.

A taste of Rome in Trieste. Really good Cacio e Pepe followed by Saltimbocca alla Romana, all very well-seasoned, delicious and authentic, washed down with Ribolla Gialla Frizzante (available by the glass). Lovely outside area with a buzzing atmosphere and an obvious favourite as it filled up quickly. Good, friendly service.
