Upon arriving, I was greeted by the hostess I was seen to my table, which was lovely with a nice sea view was a very beautiful day. I ordered grilled fish. I had some soup they gave me a new bush of lobster. I mean from top to bottom start to finish this place is amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

6/10The setting and the deco at Restaurant Bacon are beautiful. Whilst the staff were attentive at times the service was slow and erratic. The wine sat on the table and we poured it ourselves - we probably would have ordered another bottle had the sommelier topped the glasses up during the meal. The food, particularly the pork when it arrived was bland and uninteresting Apparently the lamb was tastier. At the end of the main course we decided to forgo anything further and explained to the waiter that we would go home and enjoy a bottle of wine in the comfort of our home.

Location is nice with good views to the see. Food was pretty good, although very pricy (as expected). Starters from 45-90 EUR, Mains from 60-150 EUR. Selection is pretty slim, like 5 starters, 7 mains where off 5 are fish and 4 are for two people only. Deserts are 25-35 EUR. We were 2 people having a starter each, and shared a main fish dish. Two glasses of table vine each and a coffee each, ended up 410 EUR. Food was very well presented and tasty, service was actually super arrogant and not inviting - a disgrace for a restaurant like this

8/10We have been to Bacon several times in the past year. The prix fix manu is priced well but average at best. We had the cheese course offered with an empty epoisse offered🤣. A restaurant with this reputation should never allow this. We have had the whole fish in pastry which was wonderful. I guess you should know it is about location location location here. We will go back just for the setting knowing we will spend 500.-600. Euro with an average bottle of wine.

7/10Since Tetou closed a few years ago, we've been looking for a place that has nice Bouillabaisse. Unfortunately, we were disappointed here. It's quice pricey (149 euros per person /two person minimum) but we expected that. What we did not expect was how small the portions would be. There was very little fish. They served it in two courses, which was strange. So you ate some of your fish and then there was a long time gap before they brought you the rest. And they put too much broth in each serving. It's a beautiful setting but not a place we would go back to.

9.5/10Ambience was very nice. Bread and fish in particular were very good and fresh. The very expensive cocktails were disappointingly small and not cold enough, but overall a lovely time and a good meal, and wonderful views.

Absolutely incredible. Beautiful and delicious food. The views were stunning and we had the most incredible dessert with mango, white chocolate, turmeric and curried sorbet.

2/10These people are actual thieves. I've never left a meal so upset. 1. I ordered a $47 pasta. 2. I was charged $242 for the pasta, which was mediocre. 3. I asked about the extra charge. They explained that an additional 600 grams of lobster was added, for $195, without asking or telling me. The lobster was very undercooked. When I pointed out that I never ordered the extra lobster, things got really bad. The manager then proceeded to be the most condescending, rude person I've ever experienced in a restaurant. He said that everyone knows they add additional lobster. Everyone knows how much lobster weighs. They refused to take it off the bill and continued to insult us. Avoid at all costs. Read less

E69 for three courses in daily lunch menu (exceptional value) but à la carte optional. Lovely and impeccable service.

5.5/10The restaurant has a misleading menu. Our course was delivered twice with so much more food than anyone could eat for a lunch. A less expensive alternative was available and was not explained to us.

Under the heading "The essential bouillabaisse", our menu offers two versions of the dish: the grande bouillabaisse for at least two people and a bouillabaisse dégustation à l'assiette. As their descriptions and prices are different, we don't understand how our menu is misleading. Our team is always on hand to provide customers with any further explanations they may need before placing an order. 9/10Could be amazing. The food in wonderful. The setting perfect. It’s the second time we go and both time we have been disappointed by the service. Going back and forth between pompous and overly casual. Had to ask for wine multiple time, dirty silverware and being looked down if we ask for tap water instead of mineral water. Really too bad. It could get a Michelin Star otherwise.

6/10I booked at 13:30, but the table was ready only at 14:10 and the set menu I selected was not available and this was unexpected.

The customers occupying your table in the first service were slow to leave and we would like to apologise for the inconvenience this caused you. A special menu had been prepared by the Chef and his teams for this special occasion and effectively replaced the "L'Esprit du Midi" menu you enjoyed last summer.
