Upon arriving, I was greeted by the hostess I was seen to my table, which was lovely with a nice sea view was a very beautiful day. I ordered grilled fish. I had some soup they gave me a new bush of lobster. I mean from top to bottom start to finish this place is amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

The view and the decor.

The setting and the deco at Restaurant Bacon are beautiful. Whilst the staff were attentive at times the service was slow and erratic. The wine sat on the table and we poured it ourselves - we probably would have ordered another bottle had the sommelier topped the glasses up during the meal. The food, particularly the pork when it arrived was bland and uninteresting Apparently the lamb was tastier. At the end of the main course we decided to forgo anything further and explained to the waiter that we would go home and enjoy a bottle of wine in the comfort of our home.

Location is nice with good views to the see. Food was pretty good, although very pricy (as expected). Starters from 45-90 EUR, Mains from 60-150 EUR. Selection is pretty slim, like 5 starters, 7 mains where off 5 are fish and 4 are for two people only. Deserts are 25-35 EUR. We were 2 people having a starter each, and shared a main fish dish. Two glasses of table vine each and a coffee each, ended up 410 EUR. Food was very well presented and tasty, service was actually super arrogant and not inviting - a disgrace for a restaurant like this

We have been to Bacon several times in the past year. The prix fix manu is priced well but average at best. We had the cheese course offered with an empty epoisse offered🤣. A restaurant with this reputation should never allow this. We have had the whole fish in pastry which was wonderful. I guess you should know it is about location location location here. We will go back just for the setting knowing we will spend 500.-600. Euro with an average bottle of wine.

Service isn’t the best…. Had to ask for the butter myself and wasn’t even provided menu for lunch at the beginning. Quite disappointing

The bouillabaisse didn't taste as good as before.

Since Tetou closed a few years ago, we've been looking for a place that has nice Bouillabaisse. Unfortunately, we were disappointed here. It's quice pricey (149 euros per person /two person minimum) but we expected that. What we did not expect was how small the portions would be. There was very little fish. They served it in two courses, which was strange. So you ate some of your fish and then there was a long time gap before they brought you the rest. And they put too much broth in each serving. It's a beautiful setting but not a place we would go back to.

Ambience was very nice. Bread and fish in particular were very good and fresh. The very expensive cocktails were disappointingly small and not cold enough, but overall a lovely time and a good meal, and wonderful views.

We always enjoy a pleasant moment at Maison de Bacon. Starting with the welcoming Valet and the sympathetic staff. The location is simply fantastic. From the cocktails to food and wine just excellent! We recommend and hope to return soon.

Bouillabaisse for 2 was 240 euro. And it was pretty horrible. Add filthy restrooms And 10 to valet park. You get the picture.
