Once again it was a great experience for us at Makitails. Shan and his team did a wonderful job. We had to wait a little bit for the food but they apologised ... so no worries. We will surely go back for the quality of the food.

Food is average, rice in sushis is bland (no seasoning), the fish is OK but below average for a sushi place. The yuzu cheesecake didn't taste yuzu at all but rather lime. Definitely not coming back to this place.

A cute little place on rue Fribourg, providing a cosy experience of makis and cocktails. We tried a few of their creative makis, and they were all delicious, with a surprising aftertaste on top of classic flavours. Clean, functional space, perfect for an after work casual drop-by, or for a light bite before a bigger night out in Paquis. Service was very attentive and homey. We will be back!

Great fish quality, sushi was delicious! Seated area in terrace comfortable and shaded, the inside looked like a nice ambiance as well. Service was just a little bit slow and some of the items on the menu were not yet ready when we were ordering but very small issues and I will definitely be coming back!

Food is great service is slow. They never bring everything at the same time but serve every table a little something ( even if the other tables cone later than you) and the wait and being fed in Small bits really takes away the joy of dining out despite delicious sushi.
