8/10Had the house special pasta which was good. We were early doors and first in at 6.30 which didn't seem to please some staff, seemed a bit grumpy to start with but got over it. Excellent view of Etna from the corner just below the restaurant.

9.5/10The food was great! Very simple, authentic and super fresh! Servers were very attentive, professional and super friendly! Ambiance was a ok, guess the word is out how great this place is so a lot of obnoxious and very loud tourists were there acting like they own the place.

Excellent dinner! Service attentive without being overbearing. Ate outside, wonderful atmosphere. Strolling band came by to entertain for a while. Nice energy! A lovely evening in Taormina!

It was recommended at La Plage Resort. Excellent good, fun atmosphere and really nice people who work there. We went back out last night too!!! Highly recommend.

10/10The food here was fantastic, lots of good fish dish selections, I had the sea bream prepared Sicilian style. They recommended a bottle of Rose for us, which was really good. Food was prepared quickly and they didn’t rush us out.

10/10We arrived quite late on a Sunday night and they stayed open to serve us. All of the staff were friendly and it was no problem given the lateness of the day. The food was fabulous so much so we went back 3 more times during the course of our holiday. Excellent restaurant, good location and great, friendly staff. 100% recommend this restaurant for both lunch and dinner.

6/10Malvasia was nice, the mixed antipasti starter had a few star items, the arancini was divine, but a few things let it down. we had booked but were put on the table nearest the seafood they'd put out to attract the wasps. it didn't work. so avoid if you hate wasps. we ordered a glass of wine each and asked for a 2nd but it never came. my medium rare steak was medium, but tasty. we were not told to order vegetables separately so I had a plate of steak with a peppercorn sauce. The main man who welcomed us was lovely, but the other ladies seemed irritated by all the customers.

10/10We had a fantastic dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptionally friendly. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large group, including two young children, making us feel right at home. We can't wait to return for another memorable meal!

9/10Owner was very good as were his staff, friendly and super efficient. We unfortunately chose dishes which weren't to our liking, although they were well cooked and presented. The owner insisted on giving us a discount as we didn't finish them. It was not necessary but appreciated. The restaurant is a well oiled friendly machine!

9.5/10Classic, home style Sicilian cooking. Nonna is in the kitchen preparing some of the best dishes! Casual, friendly atmosphere, but the food is the star here. Our first restaurant in Taormina and we made a reservation to go back again. 5 stars for Malvasia!

10/10My wife and I went there on the first night of our Honeymoon. We contemplated going back every night because it was that good. The food was to die for. My lemon pistachio pasta was one of the best dishes I've ever had. Simple and executed perfectly. I catch myself daydreaming about it. The staff and the atmosphere were amazing. We can't wait to go back! This is a must in Taormina - period!

10/10The food, local wine, vibe and friendliness of the staff. We started with a pasta made with sardines, breadcrumbs and lemons that was fresh, flavorful & Sicilian. I then had the seabass and my husband had the swordfish both prepared with a delicious sauce of olives, tomatoes, lemon & olive oil. We overheard several of the nearby patrons saying it was the best pasta they every had & best food they’ve had on their trip. There was both locals and visitors enjoying themselves and the food immensely.

9/10Amazing food - we had the mozzarella and tomato salad and the shrimp ravioli special. It was the nicest pasta I've ever had. Very reasonable too. Only downside is that it's on a road versus being in a pedestrian area.

9/10We went on recommendations from our BnB. First night it was excellent mostly due to the ambience of the waiter. I booked again for my husbands birthday and it wasn’t the same without the first waiter. The girls were lovely and gave him a tiramisu with a candle but it just wasn’t the same. Foods great so that’s all that matters in the end
